                        3 Weeks later

        Nayla stood in front of her bathroom mirror with all of her medications lined up on the sink. In total she had 5 bottles lined up. She learned to make herself remember to take these every morning like clock work.

        200mg of Viramune, 150mg of Selzentry, and three different kinds of prenatal vitamins all were in her hand. She swallowed them quickly then downed some water fast. Today was the day she started her first day at the Mothers Last Chance Resort. Everything was already packed she just needed to get on the road. When she told her mom about the plan, her mom didn’t seem to mind. She gave her some money and her blessing.

        Nayla grabbed the pills, packed them into her overnight bag and threw that in her purse then grabbed her bags. She carried them to the car and then loaded each one in the trunk. After one last look at her house, she climbed in the car and left. The Resort was about 50 miles away from town located in the country so she was not expected until late in the afternoon. She still hadn’t completely wrapped her mind over the whole HIV thing but as she put a hand on her little baby bump she smiled.

~~~~~~~ A couple of hours later at the resort~~~~~~~~~
        She finally made it to the resort and when she finally saw the place she was amazed. It was amazing. The house was located on the most beautiful property. Acres of tall trees and beautiful flowers surrounded everything. It was so peaceful. There were other girls walking around the property to. Some looked as if they weren’t pregnant while other’s looked like they were going to explode waddling around. Before she even made it up the steps she was greeted by a cheerful smiling lady.
        “Hey there sweetie I’m Rose and you must be Nayla” she said while stretching her hand out and smiling.
        Nayla shook her hand and tried to smile as big as she was smiling.
        “Ok so Margret told me about your situation and don’t worry your in great hands. So your room is on the 3rd and your roommate’s name is Ashley. She Is 5 months pregnant and having a little boy. I wont tell you about her condition because that is up to her to share so let me get” she looked around eagerly until she found who she was looking for.
        “Ah here he is my son Devon and he works here in the summer. He will take your bags to the room and explain some more things” she said then left.
        “Come on follow me please” he mumbled then grabbed her bags.
        They walked inside and again she was mesmerized. Everything was beautiful. It really looked like a resort or some kind of vacation spot. Pastels covered the walls and light shone from big windows from every room. She looked around once more then followed Devon up stairs. He stopped in front of a door then dug a key from his pocket and opened the door.
        It was a small room but still was comfortable for two people. When she looked at him she was taken a back at how much he looked like Brandon. He was his cousin after all. Unlike Brandon her had short black hair and rich hazel eyes. He was a bit taller but he shared the same facial features. When he cleared his throat she realized she was staring at him.
        She could feel her cheeks burn.
        “I’m so sorry for standing it’s just that you know” she said quietly.
        “Yea I look like him but I’m not him, so its his baby right?”
        “Uh yea”
        “So what’s wrong with you, because girls who are here aren’t just pregnant”
        “I’m HIV positive”
        “Wait a minute did you give it to Brandon and kill him?!”
        “God no I didn’t he um gave it to me and I found out after he died god I thought you knew he had it im sorry”
        “I heard my mom talking about it to Aunt Margret but I wasn’t really listen all that much. Damn I’m sorry I don’t know what to say”
        “It’s not your fault at all”
        Before anybody could say anything the door opened and a girl walked in.
        “Oh hey I’m Ashley and you must be Nayla” she exclaimed.
        Devon said a quick goodbye then left the room.
        “So Nayla how many months are you?”
        “Almost three”
        “Well im five months and this” she points to her stomach. “is Benjamin or Bengy for short” she giggled.
        “I love the name it’s cute”
        “Thanks so lets get to the juicy part I have cancer. Well Hodgkin Lymphoma”
        “What’s going to happen to the baby”
        “I chose not to have treatment during my pregnancy. It would hurt him and I did not want that. When he’s born if im strong enough I’ll start chemo and radiation but the doctors think I won’t make it”
        “So who’s going to take him?”
        “My mom said she wants to raise him and I couldn’t deny her that and I want Bengy to stay in the family”
        For a while, Nayla just looked at her. This girl was so upbeat and cheerful you could hardly tell she was facing some hard decisions. Not only was she dying she wouldn’t be able to see her son grow up.
        “So Nay what about you?”
        “Um well I don’t know if it’s a girl or a boy so yea but if it’s a girl I was thinking about Hope and im HIV positive”
        “ Damn that’s intense where’s the baby’ s father?”
        “He passed away a month ago and yes he gave it to me but I didn’t know he had it and no I don’t want to talk about it”
        She seemed to get the message.
        “Enough said lets go get some dinner because Bengy is hungry”
