My bestfriend. I hope you get the whole pineapple joke.

For all of you who don't watch Kevin Heart's laugh a my pain and you'll see.

After re reading the note she looked up at the girls and shrugged. She could not turn him down; she would feel too bad if she did. Looking at the clock she noticed she only had thirty minutes to get dressed so she turned around and headed to her closets.

“Wow it sure looks like nothing is going on between you to,” Ashley said.

“It’s just a friendly dinner gosh,” Nayla yelled from in her closet.

Nayla picked a simple t shirt and jeans to wear then changed right in her closet. When she came out the girls were looking at her. AGAIN. Sighing she began putting her damp hair in a ponytail.

“Can yall please stop looking at me, it’s getting really weird,” she said to all of them.

When her hair was done, she had ten minutes to spare. Not wanting to stick around in the room anymore, she said goodbye to the girls and left. It was completely dark outside and the only light came from one single lamp post by the building. She didn’t want to walk any where since it was so dark so she sat on a bench and waited. Ten minutes turned into fifteen and soon her eyes began to droop. Without even noticing she closed her eyes and fell asleep.

“Nayla baby wake up” a voice said.

Nayla opened her eyes and it wasn’t dark anymore. The sun was shining and when she looked around, she was definitely not at the resort anymore. It looked like some kind of park. Kids were playing soccer and running around while their parents watched and talked. She was sitting on some sort of blanket. When she looked down her breath caught in her throat. She was sitting on the blanket that Brandon brought for their very first date. A picnic. Touching the fabric brought back so many memories.

“It still fills the same doesn’t it babe”

She looked up quickly. It could not be who she thought it was. It was Brandon. He looked completely healthy and normal. His skin wasn’t pale anymore and his eyes were full of life. He smiled at her and she nearly fainted.

“B-B-randon how can you be here right now”

“I wanted to see you, I wanted to say sorry”

        “For what?”

“Leaving you, and the baby I wanted to see her grow up I wanted to grow old with you Nayla”

Tears fell as she placed a hand on her baby bump. His hand found hers and he gently rubbed her stomach. He used his thumb to wipe her tears as they fell on her reddened cheeks.

“Brandon I miss you so much, sometimes I just lie awake at night thinking about you. I cry so much. I tell myself to stop thinking about you but I can’t”

“Shhh it’s okay Nayla I miss you to. I miss everything about you. I wish I could be with you again but I had to leave. I’m sorry for leaving you and getting you sick. I didn’t mean to. I never wanted you to go through this”
