Violet

Once Connor and I got back to the meeting, it seems that they were just about to start. We snuck in and sat in our chairs where Ashley was waiting.

She gave us a look but didn't say anything because the elder started to speak.

"Hello my fellow Alpha's, we are here today to discuss the situation with the Blood Claw pack." He started,"a few people said they saw him here today but I assure you he is not-"

And just on que the same man walked in. Everyone turned to the doors and gasped as he walked in. Everyone except Connor, Ashley and I.

He stepped in and searched the crowd until his eyes landed on me. He stood holding our gaze and didn't even pay attention to the elder.

"A-Alpha Carson? What are you doing here?!" The elder looked like he was about to pass out.

But after he said his name everything seemed to click, he was the Alpha of the Blood Claw pack.

The leader of killers.

The murderer of innocents.

The Alpha.

And my mate.

I couldn't look at him anymore. I turned away and I swear I heard him growl a bit.

"Well wasn't this a meeting for all the alpha's,why should I be excluded?" He return his attention to the stunned crowd, and Connor was giving me some weird looks.

'Did you know he was the Alpha of Blood Claw pack?' Connor mind linked me.

'No I didn't, but it makes sense now.'

'What are you guys talking about?' Ashley was now in our mind link, I guess Connor linked with her.

'Alpha Carson is Vi's mate.' He said it with so much annoyence that I almost got defensive.

'H-how?' She asked sounding terrified.

'Well when the moon goodness decide to-'

'That's not what she meant Vi.'

'Whatever.' Then I cut off the mindlink and focused on what my mate was saying.

"I think this is a good thing though, I haven't attended in so long." He smirked.

He knows what he's doing, and I'm pretty sure he knows about our meeting was to discuss eliminating his pack.

Everyone was shocked and couldn't speak even the elders so I took it upon myself to try and calm things down.

"Well it's great to finally meet the Blood thirsty alpha," I said causing people to look at me like I have a death wish.

He met my face with a glare and I held it as I spoke on.

"Why don't you sit down so we can start the meeting?"

He took a seat but remained eye contact with me.

People were looking from me to him they tension was so thick.

I nodded my head towards the elders indicating them to talk but they just sat there staring wide eye.

So again I decided to take the lead so I stood up. "We have gathered here today to discuss the situation with the Blood Claw pack, have we not?" I looked around to the fellow alpha's. "The meeting was called, we are here so start the meeting already." I growled and some looked at me with shocked and some couldn't even meet my gaze.

"All in favor to eliminate the Blood Claw pack raise your hand." Looking around the room no one raised their hand, they just sat there with their heads down. "Fine I guess the plan is off," I grabbed my things. "And I am no longer needed here." I got up and left with my beta and beta female behind me.

Once we were out of the hall, Connor started pestering me.

"Goodness Vi how could you do that!" He stopped me. "In front of the alpha's and elders?!"

He was now pacing back and forth. "You are going to get yourself killed!"

"No she won't." We all turned to see who had interrupted and it was my mate.

"And how are you so sure?" I asked.

"Because I will protect you." He said it like that was the only answer. "Also you will be coming home with me."

I laughed, Connor and Ash tried to stop me from laughing but it didn't work.

"I'm an alpha just like you so you do not tell me what to do."

But he continued on like he didn't here me.

"We are heading back tomorrow afternoon, so be ready by then." He turned and walked away with Han trailing behind him.

"Ugh, I can't stand him! I'm going to strangle him." I started walking towards the place he just went into but Ash held me back,

"Just take a deep breath Vi and you'll be okay." It was pointless struggling against her so I turned and started going the other direction.

I was now on my computer sitting on my hotel bed trying to finish off some pack work and my mom called.

"Hey 'hun how's it going there so far?"

"Fine."

"I know that voice and it's not fine so what's wrong?" This is why I have a love hate relationship with her.

"Nothings really wrong...I just foundmymate."

"You what Violet stop mumbling I can't understand you!"

"I said that I found my mate."

"YOU WHAT?!" And there goes my eardrum. "VIOLET who is it? How's he like? Do you like him? Is he hot?"

"Calm down my and he's Alpha Carson of the Blood Claw pack, he's a jerkface, I don't, and ew mom!"

"Alpha Carson the one that-"

"Yes mom him."

"Well you're still going to be his mate right? I mean mates are the best thing to experience and I want you to have that too."

"Ugh mom I don't know yet I'll talk to you later, love you bye."

"Love you to 'hun bye."

Mom's right a mate is the best thing but I'm not exactly sure in my case. But I'm not sure yet, I got up put on a some nike tights, sports bar, jacket and my runners and decided to go for a run. I didn't do my daily exercise and I was cramped in a car for hours.

It took forever for me to get to the lobby because we were in one of those high class hotels with thousands of floors, ugh.

I was glad once I got outside the sun was starting to set and the there was a cool breeze. I started jogging on a trail that went on a beach, after a while the sunset was at its peak and the view was to good I had to stop and look. The sky was covered in pastel colours it was breathtaking, it reminded me of cotton candy I reached up to the sky.

"It's beautiful."

"Yes she is."

An involuntary shiver ran down my spine, I turned to see my mate standing in all his glory before me. It felt as if his eyes were staring right through me the colour was mesmerizing and I found myself not being able to look away.

I had this chapter done for the longest of time but I just didn't upload. 😅

Just a quick note I changed Violet's nickname to Vi instead of Vivi because it sounds better so yeah just for the heads up.
