Violet POV

After getting home late everyone went to sleep.

The next day was the last day I would be at my pack, I had to say all my goodbyes.

"Hurry up Vi your mate should be here soon!!"

My mother was not as sad as I thought she would be.

I was currently finishing up packing while my mom was hollering for me to get going from downstairs.

"I'm coming, I'm coming." Once I was down the stairs I saw Ashley and Connor sitting on the counter with my mom at the door. "How bad do you want to get rid of me?"

"Shush and come give me a hug." She grabbed my arm and pulled me in tight, Connor and Ashley joined as well.

The ringing of the door bell broke us from the hug, my mom went and opened to let Maximus in.

Once he stepped in his eyes locked on mine with a blank face, he broke eye contact and greeted my mom respectfully.

"Nice to finally meet you Mrs. Sliverlight," He took my mom's hand. "You truly are a beauty." He said and my mom started to blush.

"Oh goodness." I stared at my mother like she is crazy, she was blushing. Like full on school girl crush, oh goodness.

"Vi your mate is so nice." My mother said not even sparing me a glance.

"Thank you Mrs. Sliverlight, if it is okay with you we must be leaving it's a few hours drive back to my pack." Maximus picked up my bags and looked over to me.

"Of course it is dear, Vi it's time for you to go." My mother was pushing me out the door behind my mate. Her, Connor and Ashley stood outside waving while we got into the car.

"No chauffeur?" He just stared at me then looked back to the road. "Okay... silent treatment it is."

I looked out the window waving to my family as we pulled out of the curb. This is going to be a long ride.

After about 2 hours of driving we came to a stop. "Get out." Was all he said before he shut the door.

Rude.

I got out and shut the door extra hard, he glared at me while I stuck out my tongue back. He turned and started walking towards a big building.

When we came to the building I assumed was the pack house a few people opened the door to greet us. Amongst them I recognized Han.

"Alpha." They bowed, Maximus didn't even spare a second glance and walked in. I walked in behind he and could feel everyone's stares, but I held my head high and ignored them.

The interior was quite nice whoever decorated it had really good taste. Maximus stopped abruptly and I ran into his back.

"Hey watch where you're stopping." I said his attitude was starting to piss me off, I don't know how he considers this as 'giving us a chance'.

He didn't even spare me a glance when he turned around towards the few pack member and said, "everyone  get back to work, Han come with me." And he turned away and continued on.

Everyone disburse quickly and Han followed Max while I was standing there unsure of what to do.

"Hurry up Violet." Now I know, as I ran up the steps where my mate and Han disappeared to.

There was two long hallways to my right and left, not knowing which way they went I had to follow the scent of my mate until I can to two big doors. I pushed them opened.

"Nice of you to finally join us." Han said.

I just rolled my eyes and crossed my arms. "So what are you both discussing?" I directed my question to Max but he didn't reply right away.

"Nothing of your concern." He finally answered.

"Fine then." I walked out before I heard him calling me back.

"Where are you going?!"

"To find my room." Then I ignored him and kept walking. The hallways were long and the doors seemed to tower over me this is going to be hard then I thought.

I looked through many rooms until I came to an empty room,it looked vacant so I decided to stay there.

The room was really big and had a cozy feel, with the beige walls and black bed. I wanted to freshen up so I went to take a shower, the bathroom was so nice. There was a big glass shower that could fit like 2 people and the countertop was marble and wide mirror on the wall.

I walked in and took a hot shower using the body wash that was there, it smelled like berries and I loved it. Once I got out I wrapped myself with the fuzzy towel.

I picked up my clothes and saw that it leaked through (girl problems) so I threw all of them in the shower and soaked them with water.

Walking out of the shower I sat on the bed.

Then it hit me.

I don't have my bags.

"Stupid, stupid, stupid." I didn't know anyone so I could mindlink and I have no idea where anything is.

Except Maximus's office.

So I secured my towel before poking my head out of the room.

The coast is clear.

I made a run for it towards his office not stopping to see if anyone saw me. I got to the doors, swung them open and dashed inside.

I getting my breathing back to normal and then I looked up.
