Violet

Maximus, Nicolas and I made our way downstairs to meet Maximus' siblings.

"You work quick brother." A deep voice said as we reached the bottom.

"Oh shut up you and Aria already have a whole pack of little devils."

I realized that they thought that Nicolas was me and Maximus' child and I almost fell down the stairs, lucky Maximus steadied me.

"No you got it wrong-" I tired to explain.

"Marcus shut up, this baby is not ours, he is Nicolas from the orphanage."

I just silently nodded my head agreeing to Maximus' statement.

They both seemed a bit shocked. "Oh I see, even I thought he was your kid." Maximus'younger sister said.

"Vi this is my older brother Marcus and my younger sister Fiona, you guys this is my mate Violet."

"Nice to meet you Violet I hope you can keep my baby brother in check."

I laughed a bit at the pout that came across Maximus' face towards what his brother said, "I'll try."

Marcus was almost an exact copy of Maximus except his hair was lighter and his eyes seemed to be more blue than green.

"So your my brother's mate? Eh."

Dead silence.

I could feel everyone's eyes on me trying to see how I'll react.

Honestly I could careless she can speak her mind I can't force her to like me.

She looked similar to her brothers her hair was long and black but her eyes were grayish with bits of blue.

"Fiona," I held my hand up for Maximus to stop.

"It's okay," I looked her right in the eye "Fiona even though you might not like me it's fine I respect your opinions, but if I may suggest you get to know people before you judge them."

Marcus looked a bit impressed I guess by how I handled the situation and when I looked at Maximus he was shocked and then gave me a smile once our eyes met.

I heard a loud squeal from behind me and I turned and noticed Fiona was the source of it. She partly jumped into my arms dodging Nicolas and gave me a hug, I looked up at the boys and there faces seems to match mine. Confusion.

"Sorry for being all rude I just wanted to know if you're that superficial annoying girl, but you aren't and I'm glad." She was talking so quickly it took me a second to process what she said, "Oh and your really pretty."

"Thank you."

"No problem I can tell we are going to be great friends."

I smiled at her and nodded which made her squeal even louder, the boys cringed and I laughed.

Marcus shook his head and mumbled "Girls are just so"

"Confusing." And Maximus finished the sentence.

Fiona is a sweetheart and I understand why she acted like that in the first place, I felt like we would get along well so I wanted to do some bonding. "Do you like video games?"

"Love them."

"Let's go"

We both rushed to the living room and I turned on Maximus' ps4, I was looking through the games "Which game?"

She thought for a second before she said, "COD"

I put the game in and we started playing. I am a competitive person so you already know that it got crazy.

Maximus

The girls rushed into the living room to play some games, I needed to talk with my brother to inform him about what has happened.

"Brother recently a rouge has gotten through the borders, he attacked my mate but she was able to kill him. I don't know how we are currently investigating the situation."

"There has to be a traitor, this pack is the strongest and no one can get through especially one rouge."

"I understand, there was also a note left it read: 'Violet tree, violet tree
As lovely as you can be
Be weary of your violet tree
It will bring you to our knees.' Violet believes this could hint to her father being alive but it's impossible because he is dead."

"This is quite a mess, did you get people to track and find anything on the note?" He quickly started giving ideas.

"Yes I did."

My brother and I share the Blood Claw pack because of the massive amount of wolves, our father gave each of us half like the East and West side. But we are known as the Blood Claw pack, so both my brother and I are alphas.

"We'll have to discuss this more." I agreed with him.

"NOO I WAS SO CLOSE!" Someone yelled through the house my brother and I both made eye contact then made our way to the living room. Vi was dancing and laughing while Fiona was laying on the floor in agony.

"What happened here?" Marcus asked them.

"I beat Fiona 3 times in COD." My gorgeous mate was smiling proudly.

"Fiona sucks at COD obviously you'll win." Fiona gave Marcus a cold glare at the same time Violet stopped dancing and turned to him.

"What are you trying to say?" She stepped in front of his face challenging him.

"That you also suck at COD." Marcus gave her a full blown smirk.

"Sit down so I can beat you." Before she could sit down I grabbed her by arm and pulled her to me.

"As much as I'd love to see my brother get beaten at COD I think it's time to go see the rest of the pack."

We were currently on our way to see Marcus' side of the pack. Violet, Nicolas and I were all in my g wagon while Fiona and Marcus took the jeep wrangler. Vi begged me to take the g wagon because she claimed it was her favorite car in the world, so we did.

Nicolas was 'talking' in baby language to both Vi and I, everytime he said something Vi would respond with "mhm" or "that's nice baby".

I explained to her about how the pack is split for both Marcus and I, she was confused at first because it something that does not usually happened but she was fine with it.

She was a bit nervous to meet the other pack, so she grabbed my hand and started playing with it. We were arriving to the pack it was only a 30 mins drive from mine.

There were many pack members out to greet us, along with Marcus' beta Josh.

We made our way inside the pack house with many stares from everyone, I could tell Vi was getting a bit annoyed.

Josh stopped us before we went to relax. "Alphas we have some inform on the note and the attack on your pack."

Both my brother and I made eye contact before we followed Josh into the office. Marcus' gamma was there along with a warrior which I believe is the head warrior. Josh spoke to us "we found a bit of blood on the forest floor just ways from where the note was located, we sampled the blood and got the dna results. And also the rouge that was captured and is currently contained in alpha Maximus' pack, seems to be the last wolf from a pack that was annihilated 2 years ago."

We all took in the new information and Marcus voiced my thoughts "So he is a survivor? Why is that important?"

"But sir, there were no survivors."
