Chapter Eleven The Mate Bond

Rina's POV

I heard him whisper, "Yours." And I was lost, I felt my teeth retract back into my gums, it was like I had a new set of teeth just to bite him with, I wanted to know why I had them and where they came from. I let my head fall back away from his neck, and it fell back on something soft. That's when I realized we were back in our cavern, we were laying on the bed of furs, with Luca hovering over me.

"Prove it." I didn't even register those words coming out of my mouth until I watched his eyes turn black all the away with tiny flakes of green swirling through them.

Before I knew what was happening, Luca had his left hand helping me arch my back so our chests were touching, he then used his right hand to grab a fistful of my hair and pull my neck to the right, exposing it to him.

"Gladly, little mate." Before I could say anything else I felt his teeth pierce my neck. But his teeth pierced more on my neck than on my shoulder, I thought it was going to be painful like the first time but it was anything but.

"Please, Luca." I didn't even know what I was asking for but he seemed to know and that's when he pulled back and looked at me.

"Rina, we can't. Not until after our bonding ceremony tomorrow night, trust me I want to but I will not mate with you until you are bound to me forever, first." He looked like he was telling the truth, I would just have to believe what he said.

I was brought back down from my high all of the sudden. I remembered what I had done in the great hall and I couldn't stop the tears that started to come.

I looked up at Luca, "I killed her." That was the last thing I remembered before everything went black. Why was I so weak?

I woke up and I have never felt so good in my life, I wanted to roll over but I was stopped from doing so by Luca pulling me back into his chest. I didn't think he was going to be letting go of me anytime soon, not after last night and this morning. I think we were starting to see eye to eye.

I blushed just thinking about what we had done.

We made out so many times during the night and into the day that I had lost count. Luca fed me, after I had woke up after I had passed out. He told me that it was his job to take care of me and that meant everything. Then he proceeded to show me all through the night and into the morning what he meant by that, he had given me a massage for hours and then that would start us into making out again and then when it got to be too much we would sleep and then start all over again.

I felt Luca kiss the back of my neck before he whispered in my ear, "Rina, mate?"

I felt a shiver go down my spine, I snuggled back into him and closed my eyes that I hadn't realized were open.

"Luca?" I started drawing designs on his forearm, I wanted him to say what he was going to say.

"How are you feeling? Are you sore? I didn't over massage you did I?" He went back to kissing my neck.

I tried not to moan but it felt so good, I was also trying not to blush. "Just a little but nothing that I can't manage." I whispered.

"I'll have someone bring in a bath with warm water and some oils for you." He said in between placing kisses all over my neck.

"No, you don't have to do that! I am fine, I promise. I can just walk to our bathroom its only out in the hall, you don't need to bring it in here." I turned around in his arms so we were facing each other, I looked at him.
