~Chapter 3~

"Wanna go shopping with us?"

"With who?"

"Martinez twins and I", just then Emilio and Ivan walk downstairs. I look at Emilio for a second, noticing he's looking down at the floor. Ivan is just waiting for my response, though. I don't think he even knows what's up. I look back at Jake and try to make up my mind.

"Oh"

Kenzie's POV

"Sure", I shrug my shoulders, "Could you maybe give me 5 minutes?"

"Yeah, sure", Jake says and I run upstairs.

I take off my hoodie and leggings and put on a plaid back top and black ripped skinny jeans. I put on my white Converse and a grey cardigan. I grab mz phone and jogg downstairs.

No one's in the hallway and I wonder where they could be. Oh well, I'll just call Jake.

"Jake?!", I shout, dragging out the 'a'.

In maybe 3 seconds, Jake appears and runs downstairs.

"Ready?", he asks and I nod.

"Where is Emilio?", I ask and be looks at me, furrowing his eyebrows, "And Ivan?", I quickly add, hoping he won't notice.

"Um...to be honest, I don't really know. Martinez?!", he yells out for them.

When I see someone walking towards us, I turn around completely and see Ivan and Emilio.

"Alright, let's go", Jake says and grab his camera, walking to his car. We follow him and get in the car. Of-fucking-course, Ivan and Jake are sitting in the front which leaves me and Emilio in the back.

Great.

Through the whole ride, I'm just looking out of the window and not making a noise. When we're finally there, we get a cart and go through many isles.

"Get in!", Jake raises his eyebrows and smiles.

"What?", I ask, confused.

"Get in the cart", he laughs.

"Ohhhhh", I say and get in it. I don't even know where Emilio and Ivan are. I guess they wanted to check something, I don't know. We go through the isle with chips when Jake says he has to go look for something.

"You can't just leave me in this!", I say. While getting out, I'd probably fall down with the cart.

It's easy to get in but to get out...not really.

"I'll just check something", Jake says while walking away.

I guess I'll just stay here. I look at the other side and see the love of my life. I grab the bag of chips and put it next to me in the cart.

Now, that's for me.

I look to the front and see nachos. That bag of nachos is my second husband. I grab the shelf and push the whole cart to the front. I put the nachos in the cart and I decide to also get the hot sauce. You know, to dip nachos in it.

"Hey", Emilio says and I jump in the cart. The whole cart almost falls over but Emilio grabs the cart and holds it in it's spot.

"Gotcha", he adds and starts driving me.

I still don't know what to say. He can't just ignore me and be rude and then appear and be really nice.

When we take a left and see Jake and Ivan, Emilio helps me to get out of the cart and I walk to them.

"So, what do you need for the zipline?", I ask and look around at the shelves.

"I already got it. Oh, we'll also need some chains, too", Jake says and grabs two heavy chains.

He walks to the cart to put them in but stands still. He turns around and puts them around their necks. He quickly grabs his camera and records them. We all start laughing when Ivana and Emilio put black sunglasses on.

After we got the stuff, we walk through the isle with toilets. Ivan starts climbing the shelves to get to the toilet on the top when Jake grabs his shirt.

"Dude, you can't pee here", Jake says and we all look at Ivan.

"But I wanna pee!", Ivan continues to go up but Jake puts him down.

Right now, we're in the car, driving back home. Emilio decided to sit in the middle of the back seat. He pushes his thigh closer to my own. I don't think he knows I know he did it on purpose. Your thigh can't just get to the other side of the car.

After what seemed like a really long ride home, guys grabed the stuff we needed and I grabbed my husbands. While they're setting the zipline, I run upstairs to my room and throw the bags on my bed, I'll probably watch a movie or something tonight.

I head to the backyard and see Emilio, Ivan and Jake setting up the zipline.

"Hey. Can I somehow help?", I ask politely and smile.

"Uhh", Jake starts, probably thinking of what to say, "You could get that mannequin"

I nod and walk back in the house. I see the mannequin on the couch and grab it.

"Here", I say and give the mannequin to Jake.

They finish setting up the zip line and then Jake ties the mannequin on it.

Right now, Jake is standing on the tree and holding the mannequin while Emilio's recording him.

"3, 2, 1", Jake says and pushes the mannequin.

We all watch it as it slides down and hits the basketball hoop.

"I think it worked", Jake says and takes a deep breath knowing he's next, "Okay. Home made, backyard zip line in...3, 2, 1!"

He screams and jumps in the pool.

"It was perfect!", he says after he reaches the surface, "It was literally perfect. Did it break, or can people go? You wanna go?"

He gets out of the pool and records Emilio standing on tree branches.

"Alright, Emilio is about to go. Yo bro, I don't know how may runs can we get out of this cause every time you do it, it like starts to sag more", he says and turns the camera to Emilio.

I watch him as he's sliding down the zip line and jumping in the pool.

It's already evening and everyone is downstairs, probably watching a movie. I'm in my room listening to music when Kade comes in. I take off my headphones and smile.

"Hey", I say and sit up on my bed.

He closes the door, walks to the bed and sits next to me.

"Hi", he lets out a heavy breath and stared at his lap, "Listen, I...I've wanted to do this since you've got here", he looks up at me.

"Do what?", I ask but he just continues to stare at me, "What do you mean? Like, you wanted to-", he interrupts me by pushing me against the headboard and kissing me. I keep my mouth shut, now wanting to kiss back and put my hands on his shoulders, trying to push him away. He forces his tongue in my mouth. I finally gather my strength and push him off, storming out of the room seconds later.
