Suddenly, something rustles in the bushes! Without thinking, I jump behind Nate and put my hands on his shoulders. "Uhhhhh?" Nate says awkwardly.
I'm too scared to move. The bushes rustle even more. Cedric steps towards it. A grey tiger cub jumps out. It looks up at me with big, silver eyes. "Awww! It's so cute!" I say.
"Yeah, it is." Nate says, looking at me dreamily.
I look at him back. He immediately turns his head. I giggle.
"We should keep it and bring it with us." The tiger cub even got to Cedric's soft spot.
The tiger cub flips onto it's back. "It's a girl!" I say enthusiastically.
"Let's name her Lily, after you." Nate says, looking shyly at me.
"Sounds good!" I say. I walk forward and pick Lily up. I ruffle the fur on her head.
