This part is about Mari's "sister", Ream. One day when Queen Saint was still pregnant with Mari, she found a young human girl drowned on one of the ocean rocks.

She went over to see if she was still alive and helped her. The girl was still alive but barely had a faint pulse. Queen Saint gave some of her life force to the girl so that she could breath. In the process, it somehow allowed her to form gills on the back of neck and therefore could breath underwater.
Since the queen knew that it was dangerous in the sea for a human, she took out a ball of her life force that would supposed to keep herself alive for 50 years longer and gently pushed it into the child's heart. The human child slowly open her eyes and looking at the surroundings.
???? : " Where am I, and who are you? "
*She said with a panicked tone*
Queen Saint: *In her head* " She must've lost her memory from being deep into the ocean and the pressure of the sea force combined. "
Queen Saint: I'm Queen Saint and you're in the Atlantic Ocean.
Queen Saint tries to find out where she came from and how she ended up at the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean but it was no use trying. The girl seemed to have lost all her memories.
Queen felt bad for the little human girl so she gave her a name and took her in as one of her own.
Queen Saint: From now on, you're name is gonna be ...... Ream, ok?
Ream: Ok, but are u my mom??
Queen Saint hesitated for a bit but then answered her with pity in her heart. She knew it was wrong but since the girl didn't remember anything there was nothing that she could do other than tell a lie.
Queen Saint: Um....yes, I'm your mother. You can call me "mom" or "mama" if you'd like from now on *smiles sweetly at Ream*
Ream smiles back with an overjoyed look on her face as if she had received the best gift ever.

Once the queen took the little ball of sunshine home, she had to make her a potion so she could smell like a mermaid so that creatures would not harm her.
Creatures in the sea did not really care for humans thus they took and conquered the Earth's land and now have been eating and capturing their kind as well. They made boats and ships to make going onto the sea easier without worrying about dangerous sea creatures that could've easily eaten them if they were to swam.
