Chapter 12 | Ending

I've decided to end this book because I wasn't feeling it? Idk, hard to explain. Anyways, this chapter is going to be the last one. Enjoy!!!! :)

I turned over to the other side of my bed and stared at the clock, 12:07 a.m. I kept staring at the alarm clock that was by my bedside table. My blank face slowly turned into a huge grin while I recalled an event that happened.

**Flashback**

This was the second till the last day of college so of course I'm as excited as everyone else. I walked into the cafeteria and immediately shifted my eyes to the large crowd of people in a corner looking suspicious.

I walked closer to them to see what they were hiding. I hear one of the girl whispering to someone. Fortunately she wasn't a good whisperer since it was pretty clear what she had said.

"She's coming!!" The girl whisper-yelled unable to contain her excitement.

I scrunched up my face wondering why she was talking about me. Then I saw her. It was Somi, my best friend.

"Somi, what chu talking about?" I asked when I saw her. The corner of her lips turned up into a smirk. "Oh, it's nothing" she replied nonchalantly.

Something was off. Normally she would be like this- "Hey, what's up Mari. Did you bring anything edible? Seriously I haven't eaten anything since last period." While rubbing her stomach to show hunger. But no. She's less bubbily and quiet for once.

"What's wrong, are you sick?" I asked her. She shook her head, "Nope, cheez butt!" As soon as she said that the lights went out. I started getting nervous. Why is she so weirder than normal today?

The lights turned back on after a few minutes. I noticed that the crowd standing around someone leaving a gap across from where I stood, frozen. It was Taehyung.

He has a microphone and was standing up as soon as he saw me.

Now I was even more confused. Seriously, what was happening.

He came closer to me and stopped till we were an arm's length away. Suddenly music started playing and everybody was swaying slowly to the soft music. Tae started singing and his deep voice was so captivating that I was in a trance state just gazing at him while he sang.

It seemed to be some type of love song. I sure that he wrote the lyrics. He sang about what I liked, my hobbies, and because my name just happened to be in there too. It was the most sweetest songs I've ever heard.

He grabbed me gently by the hand and pulled me closer as he finished up his song. Some guy close to him handed him a rose.

He turns to me and extended his arm which held the rose. Roses are my absolute favorite flowers.

He then looks me in the eye staring at me with his signature smile. "Mari, will you be my girlfriend?" He asks while I looked a bit flushed.

Tae and I hanged out 24/7 since that day of the carnival. We we're basically the bestest of friends. Jin has to go abroad for a concert after debuting as an idol and I started talking to Tae more often. I had a major crush on him but I was scared to ruin our friendship.

"Of course!" I replied to Tae with a huge smile while looking like an idiot.

"Really? I'm so happy!!" He says while he pulled me into a tight hug. Everybody started clapping and I swear I saw Sam out of the corner of my eye giving Tae two thumbs up.

I immediately blushed when someone yells out 'kiss!'. Somi smacked the guy on the back of his head. I giggled while giving Somi a look that says 'good job'. She replied by saying 'You're welcome!!" As she hugged her boyfriend, Jackson. She started rubbing the back of his head and gave him a grin.

Tae slowly pulled back and looked at my lips for a moment and then looked at me. I nodded giving him permission to kiss me. He pecks my cheeks and my forehead before kissing my lips passionate but softly.

"I love you." He whispered in my ear

"I love you too." I say while giving him a peck on his cheek.

**Flashback ends**

I felt an arm going around my waist. I turned to see Tae sleeping with a smile on his face. I smile seeing his adorable sleeping face.

Then there was a knock on the bedroom door. It was opened with a slight creaking noise and there stood a short figure with a stuffed alien in her arms.

"Mommy, I can't sleep. Can I sleep with you and daddy?" She asks while rubbing her eyes with her free arm.

She's obsessed with aliens and stuff that had to do with the supernatural. I swear Tae is going to end up in her collection one day.

Little Chaeyong closed the door and slipped herself in between Tae and I.

She shortly fell asleep and I was starting to get sleepy too. I closed my eyes after kissing them both on the forehead.
