Mari: The principal at our school announced that she's gonna let the kids have prom!!
King Poseidon: What is a "prom"???
Mari: *giggles* It's a school dance that humans have, silly.
King Poseidon: Well, how does this prom thing work?
Mari: Ok, so you ask someone or someone asks you to go with them and then they have to get dressed up. After they get dressed formally, they then go to the dance together. Doesn't that sound like a lot of fun!! *I squeal*
The King's face dropped when he heard that she'd need a date to go
King Poseidon: But my sweet potato, wouldn't you rather go with daddy to this prom??
Mari: Dad, it's for kids only. You're an adult so you'll break the rules
King Poseidon: Darling, don't you know that I make the rules *shows off his power*
I chuckled lightly when I saw that he didn't want me to get a date. I reassured him that I'll be going with Angie and Alex sinced we've already promised each other at school.
King Poseidon: Oh, well that that's fine as long as you go with friends *he felt relieved*
Mari: "Imma go pick out a dress now. Bye daddy!!" I waved quickly and swam as fast as I could to my room.
King Poseidon: "I can't believe that she's already 12, almost 13 years old. She's gonna fall in love, marry him, and move away from me." He starts fake sobbing but he knows that it'll actually hurt him to see her only precious daughter go.
As soon as I got to my room, Angie was already there.
Mari: Ange how'd u get in here?
Angie: The servants showed me to your room plus I've been here multiple times so they thought it would be okay.
Mari: "Since you're here what are you going to wear to prom?!" I said, unable to keep my excitement under control.
Angie: "How about this?" She spinned in a circle so I could see her outfit.
