"What are you staring at, dude?" Taehyung asked Jimin, following his friend's line of sight, landing on the motivated teenage girl, pushing herself to run her last two laps around the race track.

Come on, Penelope. she cheered herself on. Tae smirked. "Is that why you're always here? To stare at Penny?" The nosy friend tilts his head back and lets the remaining chips and crumbs slide out of the snack he's currently consuming. Jimin doesn't answer. Too infatuated with Penelope's motivation. Taehyung realizes his friend pays no attention and giggles. "If you like her so much, go tell her." At this, he quirks his ears. The cotton candy and marshmellow-y Jimin disappears. "Yah! Shouldn't you be in practice?"

"Shouldn't you?" He smirks, winking at Jimin. Jimin frowns and pushes him away, smacking him upside the head when he cusses. "Go to practice, fucker." He laughs and walks off, looking at the racetrack. "London has fallen!" Penelope groaned in pain, not noticing the panicked look in Jimin's face at the sight of her thrown on the floor.

"Why aren't you eating? Aren't you hungry?" Penelope shook her head, not daring to look at her friends face for more than a second. She feared she'd give into her questioning look and eat more than she did this morning. JaeHee was concerned but didn't question her only friend. She looked away from her best friend and at the blue haired fellow that entered the cafeteria, in search of his sister and best friend. Jaehee smile brightened at her boyfriend's gummy smile. "Yoongi-ah!" she lifted her hand and waved at him. Penelope's stomach tightened at her brother's name. She lifted her head and pleaded her friend silently. JaeHee smiled softly, mentally assuring her friend. Penelope stared down at her phone, avoiding his eyes. "Why aren't you eating?" Penelope rolled her eyes, annoyed. "Why aren't you?" she retorted. Yoongi sighed, feeling concern for his younger sister who had refused lunch like she did yesterday. "Skipping meals isn't the way to go about this, Penny." I rolled my eyes and stood up at the same time his friends arrived. "Penny!" Yoongi called, trying to beg his sister to stay. But she didn't even spare a glance. Jimin stared, wanting to run to her. He wanted to hug Penelope and praise her for her effort. But even that wasn't allowed. Not while her brother watched.

The brother he once considered a boyfriend before JaeHee entered the picture.

Jimin jumped off the edge of the bleachers and sprinted towards a whimpering Penelope. Not my cupcake, he thought. Penelope shook from the sobs she held at the pain thumping from the scratch on her knee. Jimin reached her and with such concern and more pain that Penelope was feeling, he asked, "Are you okay? Does it hurt?—"

"Of course it hurts, dipshit. She fell—" The annoyed mochi let his balled fist fly into Taehyung's crotch, causing nosy blonde to curse in pain. Penelope panicked the minute she heard his voice. She flushed from embarrassment and sniffled, wiping her eyes as more tears spilled from her waterline. "I'm fine," she croaked. "Go away." She scooted further from Jimin and hid her sweat and tear drenched face. Let me see those sprinkles, cupcake. He begged, unwillingly stretching his arm and gripping her chin. He gently turned her head towards him. The minute Penelope turned to Jimin, he fell deeply into her chocolate frosting colored eyes. Her pale skin contrasted that of vanilla, his favorite flavored cupcake. Her light brown freckles sprinkled across her nose and cheekbones. I love chocolate sprinkles.

He pushed a strand of hair away from her face and let his hand cup Penelope's cheek. So... soft. The wind blew, her scent flowing from her body and into Jimin's nostrils. So... sweet. Penelope felt uncomfortable when she realized how long she'd been staring into Jimin's eyes, causing his heart to flutter violently. "You're beautiful," Jimin whispered, not expecting Penelope to jolt up and run away faster than he'd seen her the past two weeks. Jimin giggled at her cute face of horror as she ran, looking back at him. Jimin smiled a bright smile and waved, a light blush on his cheeks as he stuck his hands into his pockets. He fidgeted on his feet for quite some time, forgetting that his best friend was struggling to stand up straight. "What the hell is wrong with you? You look like someone just gave you a lifetime supply of hanu." Jimin snaps out of his happiness and turns his dropped head to glare at Taehyung. The blonde, still in pain from Jimin's blow to his lower region; was too busy trying to distract himself from the pain and fell hard when Jimin kicked the spot behind his knee and pushed his head forward.

"You idiot," The annoyed mochi mumbles as Taehyung falls to the ground.

Penelope ran to the locker room and grabbed her towel from the locker. Taking a deep breath, she stared at the ceiling, breathing out. Is he blind? Is all she thought as Jimin's words circled above her head, mocking Penelope's existence. I shook my head and walked to the showers after removing my clothes and wrapping myself in the towel. There can't be anyone here, right? She thought, closing the shower curtain. It's after school hours and all female sports are over. She closed her eyes, unaware of the three girls that saw her run in, planning a terrible thing.

The minute a careless Penelope stepped out with a towel around her body, she was swept off her feet and met a cold floor. The towel she wore was now in the hands of the brunette who hated her down to the core. The two girls cackled as Penelope struggled to cover herself, fear coursing through her veins. She began to cry, her eyes never seeming to stop the waterworks. She tried to speak or sob but it wasn't happening. It was just heavy whimpers and gibberish, water trickling down her body from where she tried to stop her fall by gripping the shower handle to control the water knob. She failed and it was obvious. Penelope crouched in the corner of the shower, covering her face as both girls pulled out their phones and recorded her misery.

He had had enough. He'd been passing by the girl's locker room with Taehyung and Jungkook when they heard monstrous laughs and whimpers. Both boys shook it off unwillingly while Jimin had a sinking feeling in his stomach. He rushed in and the boys decided to follow, both curious and concerned if there was anything to be concerned about. The sight infuriated Jimin, then Taehyung and Jungkook. For his girlfriend was standing above the crying soul in the bathroom. What angered Jimin more was when the unknown victim finally muttered, please. It was weak, and barely audible through the croaky voice and whimpers. But Jimin knew that voice like red velvet with a dash of vanilla.

PENELOPE.
