She was nervous. It had been a whole weekend. Her and Jimin hadn't spoken to each other. Jimin was just freaking out after not hearing from her. "Fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck—"

"This is the most I've heard you cuss. Ever." He ignored the two who sat on his bed since 5 in the morning, taking advantage of Jimin's TV while the nervous boy paced frantically and let his body fall on the bed. "What if I fucked shit up?" After the kiss, they were comfortable and happy. The conversation was appealing to both of them and neither wanted to leave after they'd finished the food. "Do you think I fucked shit up?" he lifts his head and looks at his friend. Jungkook snorts at his friend's distressed hair, sticking up in all directions. "Well, Jimin," he says, shooting repeatedly at Hanzo. Taehyung cusses when D.Va shoots him down. "In order to say if you did or didn't, we'd need to know what you did... it's just required information." Jimin sighs. He wasn't embarrassed to tell them.

He was shy and the color on his cheeks made it evident. "Its cause—" he groans. "You guys are dicks when I tell you shit like this." He mumbles into his pillow. Taehyung snorts, pressing on buttons repeatedly. "We don't do it to make fun of you. We do it to let you release some tension because you overthink too much."

"it wounds me." Jungkook pauses the game and smacks Taehyung to make him turn away and look at a troubled Jimin. "What did you do?" They notice his cheeks darkening and almost smirk. "Did our little Jiminie get lucky—" before that sentence is finished, there's a well-fluffed pillow in Taehyung's face. "Ouch! Okay, sorry."

"Tae, shut up." Jungkook says, earning a glare. "Dude, spit it out before I give up on you and tell you how fucked up whatever it was you did, is." Jimin nods shyly, fidgeting with his fingers and running a hand through his hair twice before he says it. "I kissed... Penelope." He didn't wanna look up at them. Jimin knew that a subject like this came with constant teasing and jokes that made him angry and bashful. But all that came from the two boys was shock, screams...

and a lot of smacks on the back.

"Yoonshim—"

"Bye!" she slammed the door behind her and began walking to school. "Yoonshim-ah!" Her father raised her voice, yelling at her, and catching the attention of their neighbors. She awkwardly smiled and bowed towards them apologetically. "Yes?" she calmly says, avoiding eye contact with her father. He was angry that anytime he'd try to talk to her, she'd just slam the door and not even bother. "I need to talk to you, get inside." She widened her eyes and finally looked at him. "Right now!"

"Don't raise your voice at me and get inside—"

"I'm late for school. Can we talk about this later?" She was desperate to talk to Jimin and if she didn't talk to him before school, she wouldn't be able to concentrate. She was nervous and hope that he was offended for her lack of contact during the weekend.

For his lips on her definitely broke all restraints she had on feelings and she couldn't control them. She considered avoiding Jimin because she didn't want to pull him into a war he played no part. But then she realized that not only was she a war but so was Jimin. He struggled so much. All those times she'd sit wondering if all his pretty boy friends ever had a negative comment thrown at them. Back before they even knew each other's existence. With Jimin's words, its as if it had pointed out every flaw in her observations and she noticed the little things that she hadn't.

"I don't know if you ever noticed but Jimin missed a week of school once."

She did notice. For the first few days, it was just Taehyung and Jungkook. The conversation wasn't as lively as when Jimin's bright smile and heartwarming laugh was. She had only been a student in this school for almost a year and she had already wondered where the pretty boy had gone too. Then the remaining weekdays, they showed up with sullen faces. Taehyung's eyes were red and swollen. He seemed to squirm a lot and sniffle. He didn't maintain focus and many teachers picked at him constantly. She remembered Taehyung glaring at a teacher so intensely for calling him out on his lack of focus, her knees wobbled from how scary the look was. Jimin returned maybe mid-week after that but he looked weak. No one noticed. Not the girls that approached him with hugs. Not the snarky teachers that welcomed him back with sarcasm, obviously not having heard of his condition. He had shaken it off. He didn't want any sympathy for being pathetic and thinking it was okay to be babied for having almost ended his life.

"What?" she noticed Yoongi was also sitting at the table. Her suspicion grew. "Are you going to kick me out already?"

"No, YoonShim—"

"Penelope." She corrected. Her father sighed in frustration and that angered Yoongi. "Just sit down, Penny." He growled. She sighed and checked her phone for the time. "Did you finally get YaNi pregnant?" They were quiet and Yoongi was shocked. He didn't know why they were here but the moment she said that and neither his stepmother or father spoke, he was shocked. "Congratulations. I hope the baby knows what he or she is being born into. It can have my room and I'll move in with grandma."

"YoonShim—" her father was surprised that his daughter even knew what he wanted to talk about. More or less the arrangements. "I'm not stupid enough to believe you'd actually let me live with you till I'm financially capable of handling myself especially since I've never been a priority. You've even been so generous as to let me live with a grandmother that hates me as much as you and your family do."

"Excuse me—" her stepmother tries to cut in, angered by what her disrespectful stepdaughter says.

"Have a nice life and I hope your child is as fat as I am, lady." She glares with glossed eyes, red at the edges and lips quivering. "Call me when you've packed my shit and the arrangement has been made. I'd like to move out as soon as possible so grandma can push me to my death." With that, she walked out of their home and sobbed her way to her mother's grave across town.

Jimin had finally pushed himself out of bed and gotten dressed as best as he could. He walked into school and hoped he'd see her. He didn't and assumed she'd arrived late, not wanting to think the latter. But when she was nowhere to be seen during lunch, he approached Yoongi in broad daylight and asked both of them, "Where's Penny?" That sparked something in Yoongi. "What do you mean where is she?"

"I mean, where is she?! I haven't seen her all day. You live with her, you should know." Yoongi was out of words.

"I THOUGHT SHE WAS WITH YOU."
