"I didn't know you had a sister," Monnie states, looking over at Penelope as she plays around with her food. "Nobody does," she mumbles, looking at her brother through the corner of her eyes. "Stop," he softly mumbles, not taking his eyes off of Jin and Monnie. "You're so pretty tho." Jimin didn't know why, but he blushed, looking down at his lap and smiling a little.

My cupcake is beautiful.

"Hyung," Taehyung says when he notices Penelope squirm in her seat. "How have you guys been? Last time I saw you, Jimin and Yoo—"

"Hyung!" Taehyung quickly pipes up, cutting off the elder. He gives him a look that causes Jin to blush in embarrassment. "Anyways, how are you... all?"

"We're great," Jimin smiles genuinely, looking away from cupca— Penelope. "Our last year and were done."

"What about you, Penny?" Monnie asks, resting his chin on his palms. "You graduate this year too?" Penelope looks up with tinted cheeks and looks at Jimin. Although being a bit more comfortable around his friends, it wasn't to the point where she could comfortable speak. And meeting Taehyung's older brothers, very similar to the loud personality of the boy himself, she was much more uncomfortable. "Yeah, she is." Jimin answers for her.

Yoongi's jaw tightens and he looks away to mumble under his breath. Penelope turns to look at him, furrowing her eyebrows at his words. "Fucking Mochi."

"I told you... to not be with him." Penelope rolls her eyes as she walks down the hall to her room. "Whoever said I was with him? He's my friend. One that you aren't dating." she slams the door in his face. Yoongi gets the urge to stomp his feet and pull his hair out but settles for taking a deep breath. "It doesn't matter." He says, walking into her room.

"Before I came, weren't you friends?" This caught Yoongi off-guard. Not many people new about his friendship with Jimin was more than that. They just occasionally saw them together and people assumed they were just mutuals that got along. But then again...

No one in that school cares about anyone else unless it was for bullying.

"No, we weren't." Which was half true. Penelope sighs and sits on her bed as she removes her shoes. The bed creaks and she momentarily loses her breath while trying to lift her foot and rest it on her knee. "You can't even trust your own sister with the truth." her eyes become moist and she looks at him with a broken expression. "But you can trust your girlfriend?"

Yoongi was afraid to tell her because he was afraid he wouldn't say what he wanted to. He didn't know how he felt, what happened, what could've happened if he had continued his relationship with Jimin. He hurt him. He was afraid, although he knew there was a strong possibility that he wouldn't; he didn't want Jimin to hurt his sister for what Yoongi caused the average sized guy.

Telling his sister the possibility that he's bisexual, scared Yoongi because he wasn't good at confrontation. But telling her that he used to date Jimin was totally different. It wouldn't be if he wasn't already dating her best friend.

But he her Jimin and Yoongi knew she wouldn't forgive him.

"Just understand that there's many things that I can't say because I wouldn't know if it's true or not." She was quiet for a second and sighed. "I don't understand myself. And I'm scared." Hearing this from her brother made her feel unusual. Their usually wasn't a heart to heart. It was usually an argument about the littlest things. "You shouldn't be scared of me. We're family. I wouldn't judge you."

"Well it's not like you share anything with me."

"It's not like you would care." He sighs. "I care about you, Penny."

"Since when? Since you found out I was around Jimin?"

"Stop it already!" Our father screams from downstairs. Penelope huffed as she heard footsteps approaching. "Are you seriously arguing with your brother again, Penelope? Aren't you too old to be—"

"I really wish I had left with mom." She whispers, her heart twinning in pain. "Maybe I wouldn't have to deal with all this shit and neglect." She looks up at her father with her eyes full of tears and cheeks red from how much she resisting the urge to cry. "A parent favoring one of his children over the other."

Talking about their mother wasn't something he particularly liked to do. It was a lot regrets and bad memories that would replay in his brain. He loved their mother but now the way he loves his wife. "Min YoonShim—"

"That's not my name." She snaps, not liking the sound of her Korean name. It wasn't the one her mother gave her at birth. She loved her culture and country.

She just didn't favor her family for abandoning her and her mother. For her father choosing to take only his son and not bothering to check up on his daughter.

even on her birthday.

"Penny—" Yoongi tries to speak with the pain in his heart.

"Just leave me alone." She mumbles, wiping her eyes and walking into her room. "YoonShim."

"THAT'S NOT MY NAME, DAD."
