KAT
I stirred awake, the darkness around me making my heart skip beat. Calum soon approached me, reassuring me in the best way possible.
"Are you alright?" He lifted me from the ground, and kept a firm grip on my wrists. That's when I took the time to actually feel myself. My head was still pounding and the world was still spinning a bit too fast.
"No." I suddenly had the urge to just throw up all over him, but I kept my cool ad lowered myself back down to the ground. I wasn't ready to walk just yet.
"How long was I out for?" He slipped down next to me with a sigh that told me i wouldn't like the answer, "Two hours."
That wasn't bad, but it made me think 'what would be waiting for us outside that door?'. I wanted to be somewhere else. Death was more appealing than the painful headache and the imminent ringing in my ears. What's worse: I'm bleeding. I couldn't help but to cry.
"Phew!" Kitten said sarcastically, "She's awake!"
He was enjoying every second of this, and I hated him for it. How could he do this to us?
"I must admit, that was way too easy, so let me give you more of a challenge."
Calum looked up quickly, his eyes changing color. He turned to me slowly, his posture straightening up considerably. My eyes widened in fear as he stared at me, the pieces coming together in my mind. Calum wasn't Calum anymore, so I got up and ran as fast as i could, panicking again.
How was this happening? Who was behind all of this? Pretty soon, due to the fact that my head was still spinning, he caught up to me, pushing me backwards with a new- found bat. Was this the end for me?
"Katalaya." His voice definitely wasn't his, "Sweet, sweet Katalaya. You're gonna die in here."
He shoved me into the wall roughly, making me wince and wiggle. A shooting pain ran up and down my back. As expected, my head was spinning again.
"Whether you like it or not."
He dropped me to the ground, giving me three good wacks with the bat, and all i could do was writhe in pain. I was pretty sure I was about to die at the hands of my best friend. Just as i thought i could lean myself against the wall, he kicked me back down again, his tough converse shoes doing a good job.
After that, he collapsed to the ground, the only sound being the clonk of the baseball bat and the helpless sobs escaping my parted lips. It hurts every where, and i can barely function. All i could think of was pain. My back was stinging, my stomach was throbbing, and my head was burning with pain. I watched him on the floor. Hopefully, he'd wake up normal, but until then, I had to suffer on my own.
