Chapter Six: Jackie...

Sophie's Pov

I listened to his story. So sad. I got no words to say. I was speechless. I looked at him. He is looking down, about to cry." Oh how I wished that my life was back to normal." He said, rubbing his eyes. Facing away from me. "The life of becoming the top student and a....good boy." He said, broken voice...he was crying..I sat next to him. Then hugged him. I can feel that he needs it... " It's ok...I'm here for you." I said with my voice breaking. I can feel his pain. He was being framed.

"Thanks." He said. " Do you believe on what I said just now?" He questioned. I looked at him. The eyes of innocence. The kind of eyes that I could stare all day. I nodded. "Thanks for believing in me." He said, giving me a smile. I smiled back....

The Next Day

I woke up to the sound of the alarm. "Another school day huh?" I said to myself. I took my shower and went out of my room. I head downstairs. I was shocked to see what's in front of my eyes. Ethan....cooking? "Good morning Sophie. Made you breakfast." He said. He was happy today. Maybe he probably have someone believing his story. I looked at him. So handsome...and kind...what more can a girl want? I love him. But I can't reveal my love to him. I looked down, blushing. " Good morning Ethan." I said, looking down. He walked to me. " You ok?" He said, close to me. I looked at his handsome face. I can feel my cheeks warm. I nodded in response. "Good, come, let's have breakfast." He said. I sat on the chair and we have breakfast.

I watched him eat his breakfast. I eat with him too but I can't help staring at him. My love for him is getting more intense. I love him. But will he love me back? We finished breakfast and then we head to school...

Ethan's Pov

We had breakfast. I am so happy today because someone believes my story. Finally....at least someone. I noticed that Sophie was not talking to me. Odd...

We head to school walking. It was silent. I looked at her. She was looking down. I know that she was thinking. But what is it? " Ethan..." She said, calling me. Finally she talked. "Yeah Sophie." I responded. "Do you have a crush on anybody?" She said. I was shocked. Wow...no one ask me this kind of question. But I know just what to answer. "Yeah....I do." I said. She looked at me. Her eyes locked with mine. " Who is your crush?" She said. Should I tell her? I mean like, she is a girl....sometimes girls love to spread rumours. But I trust her. "If I say it, promise me you won't tell anybody?" I said. She nodded. "I love Jackie." She smiled at me. " Who?" She said. But her tone suddenly changes. Did I do something wrong? "Jackie....Jackie Johansen....she is in my class." I said. "Oh...ok..." She said. But her tone sounded sad.....

Time Skipped To School

We finally reached school. Maybe today I will confess my feelings for her. I walked to class. Again...Sophie was silent. What happened to her? I don't know....

When I walked in class I saw Jackie. She looked at me. I walked to her."Jackie?" I said. "Can you talk to me outside?" She said. Then we walked outside. Sophie looked at me. She smiled at me.

"Jackie?...do...you have a crush on anyone?" I said. "Yeah...i...do.." She said. "I have a crush on you." She said. I was shocked and the same time happy. "Well I got a crush on you too." I said. She looked at me. "Since when?" She said. "Since I met you for the first time." I said. She looked shocked. "Me too!!" She said happily. Who knew? She had a crush on me. I'm so happy. But I can't stop feeling that somebody was sad. But I ignored it. Then we walked inside the class as a couple...

Time Skipped To Recess

I walked outside of class with Jackie so we can eat together....kinda like our first school date. I'm so happy. I walked to the Cafeteria. Ordered some food and sat next to her. "So how will our date be?" She said. I too was wondering where will our first date be. "I don't know. Where will you think our date will be?" I said. She looked at me. "How about the park?" She said. Looking at me with the brown eyes. I could just stare at it all day. " Sure. How about this Saturday?" I said. "Ok. At 10A.M ok?" She said. "Cool." I said. Then she kissed me on the cheek. I blushed like a red tomato. Then I saw Sophie. She was alone. I felt pity to her. Then I saw her sit at the table....alone...

"Hey?" She said waving her hands near my eyes. I came back to reality."Yes?" I said. "You ok?" She said. "I'm ok. Just zoned out." I chuckled nervously. Actually I am not fine. Seeing Sophie alone makes me feel bad. But she can take care of herself. I mean she is like independent. I believe in her. But why do I feel like that is wrong? Me and my feelings....sometimes they are very weird.

Time Skipped To After School Ends

I waited for Jackie at the gate. "Ethan!!" She called me, running. I looked at her. Very nice curves, beautiful and sexy. She came near to me. "Let's go back home." She said. I nodded. Then we walked back. We talked about the weather, plans for our date and politics. Then we reached her house. "Ok. See you later." I said. She kissed me on the cheeks. I blushed. "See you later Wild Man." She said. Great....a new nickname created by my girlfriend..

Finally.....she is finally mine.

My one crush loves me back...

It's worth waiting....

But I can't help....

Feeling empty....

I mean, you have a girlfriend but I still feel empty....

What is the missing piece...

I don't know....

But I think time will tell...
