Chapter Eleven: The Diary (Part One)

Ethan's Pov

I woke up to the sound of the alarm. I got up. Really tired. But I have to get up. Because it is a school day today. I got up and took my shower. Then I head downstairs. I saw my Mom. "Good morning Son. How are you feeling?" She said. Really? I looked at her with a glare. "I'm fine Mom." I said in sarcasm. Of course I'm not ok. You know that. She got closer to me. "It's her isn't it?" She said. I looked at her in the eyes. I can't handle my emotion anymore. I teared up. Tears filling up my eyes and running down my cheeks.

She hugged me. "It's okay. I am here for you." She said. With her hugging me reminded of my first time hugging Sophie. She shocked me at first but then I got used to it. I cried even more harder. "It's okay. Let it all out. Don't worry. Maybe she will come back." She said comforting me. We let go of the hug. "Thanks Mom. I needed that." I said, all cheered up. A bit I guess. Then I had breakfast.

After breakfast, I head to school...alone. So this is what it felt like to walk alone. It felt painful. I felt so lonely. So this is what she felt when she walked home alone, every day, for three months. I can feel her pain. But this pain is not as painful as what Sophie felt. I'm so sorry Sophie. I'm sorry I made you feel like this. Now it's time for me to have a taste of my own medicine.

Time Skipped To School

Finally reached school. I walked at the gate then reached the school hall. I walked to my locker which was beside it....was Sophie's locker. I looked at her locker. Then I saw a doodle on her locker. I looked at it closely and was shocked to see what was written there. It said. "I love Ethan. But will he love me back?" I felt tears coming out from my eyes. I can feel tears running down my cheeks. I looked below the doodle it says the date of when she wrote that. It was three months ago. She really love me that much until she wrote her feelings on the locker? I felt guilty. What kind of a person am I?

I touched the locker. The door moved. Which means that it was unlocked. I opened it revealing her stuffs. I looked behind the door of the locker. I was shocked to see that my photo of me and her on Picture Day. I grabbed the photo. I looked at her face. She was really happy on that day. But came back home crying. Then I checked the top shelf. It was filled with school work. Then I checked the middle compartment. It was filled with school events. I grabbed it and look at it one by one. Then I stopped when I saw the School Carnival event notice. I remember that day. I went there with Jackie and Sophie went there well........alone I guess. I put back the school notice and checked the bottom compartment. It was filled with junk. I took all of them out and shocked to see there was a book. It was very colourful. I took it out and checked if there was anything else that I needed to take so I can examine. "Nope nothing else." I said. I closed the locker. Then I head to class...

Time Skipped To After School

I walked back home, alone. Feeling depressed and excited at the same time. I got a book that belonged to her. I took out the book out from my bag. I take a look at the book. "Funny what kind of book had a lock on it." I said, laughing. Then I realised. This...was ....her...diary. I was shocked. I ran as fast as I could so I can check out her diary. I don't know why but I think I should read it..

Time Skipped To Back Home

I finally reached home. I ran upstairs and got in my room. I sat down on my bed. I took out the diary in the bag. It was locked. I tried to opened it. But I can't. It's too hard. I can try to break it but it will damage the book. Then I looked at the back of the book. I was shocked when I saw a writing on it. It said....

Sorry...ran to my limit...
