Ethan's POV

I pulled her to me and kissed her on her lips. The knees weakened. She fell on the ground, crying while hugging my legs. A sense of pity rushed my blood as I looked at her hugging my legs so tightly. I pulled her up. Looking at her blue, dull eyes. She looked down. Still crying.

She was here in front of me. She kept crying and crying. I, too was about to teared up. She is sad. Her feelings, rushed in my soul. As if we're connected. I can feel her pain. Without hesitation, I held out my hand. She looked at my hand then my eyes. She knew what I wanted. Without hesitation, she hugged me. Real tight. She missed me. I can feel it.

"Sorry." I started. "What?" She sobbed. "I said, I'm sorry." I said, cold hearted. "For making you feel all the depression for the past three months." I said. She let go of the hug. "You just came to me just to say sorry?!" She was pissed. "You shouldn't do it, just go back to Jackie!" She said. Then, she walked away. "Wait!" I said.

She stopped and turned around. "What now?" She said. "Your voice hurts me. What could you possibly ask me now?" She said. I was stiffed, speechless. "Yeah, that's right, go back to Jackie." She said. I was so sad. She was sad, scarred and mentally tortured. I can feel it. "Jackie and me, broke up." I said. She was stiffed. "Why? Wasn't she already perfect for you?" She said, cold hearted. "She was so possessive. And what she had done was not as comparable to you." I said.

"What do you mean?" She said, pissed. I came closer to her. "What im saying that, you are there for me when I'm down. Never asked for my money, and still be there even when I didn't need you at that point of time. Even though you're quite annoying at times, you always makes smile at any point. See, I'm smiling because I met you Sophie Hayden." I smiled. Her face was full of red. I held her hands. Still soft as I could remember. "Sophie, will you be my girlfriend?" I asked.

Her face was in shock. She looked down. She nodded. "Yes? Or No?" I asked. "Yes, I will." She said, with her arms behind her back and one foot in a tiptoe formation. You know, what girls do when they are shy. Heh, cute. I was happy. I must've been dreaming. I will kill the person who woke me up from this dream. She began to tear up again. "Eh? Why are you crying?" I asked. "It's just that, I'm sorry for leaving you like that. Sorry, I must've hurt you." She said, all sniffling. I hugged her. Her head, on my chest. I can feel her cheeks warming up.

"It's fine, I deserve that." I said. We stood there for about two minutes. "You know, it's funny." She said. "What is it?" I asked. "You used to be the same height as me, now you're like a giant. I can barely put my arms around your shoulder." She chuckled. "But you know, what is the good part?" I asked. "Nope." She smiled. "You being shorter makes you more huggable." I said.

"Really?" She asked. "Yeah, like a teddy bear." I said. "I'm not a teddy bear." She pouted. "Yeah, but like you're short until I can carry you like a baby." I laughed. I carried her. "Hey, put me down!!" She said. I put her on my back. "There you go." I said. "How was the view?" I asked. "It's beautiful." She said. Then, I walked.

We chatted for a while then, I took her to the students room. I went to her room. "Alright, see you later." I kissed her on the cheeks. "See you!!" She smiled. Then, I head to my room. Wow, years I haven't met her and now she is here. Could this be the second present that Mr Skeeves had given to me?...

The Next Day

I woke up to the sound of the alarm. Since today was not my lecture day, I'm planning to revise on my continuous assessment. Man, it's gonna be tough. Like back to square one. As long as I'm not lazy, I'll be fine. I took out all of my books. "Let's see, which one?" I looked at the stack of books. "Ah! Here it is." I took my book. I heard a knock. "Who could it be at this time of hour?" I said. I went to the door. Once, I opened the door. "Hello Ethan!!" Said the girl of my dreams. "What are you doing this early?" I asked.

She went inside. "Woah, for a boy, it's tidy." She said. "Oh, I was here in the neighbourhood and I wanted to drop by." She said. "Sophie, your room is like 11 levels above me." I looked at her. "Fine, I wanted to meet you, ok?" She pouted. "You know, you could've just texted me you know?" I asked. "I haven't take my shower yet." I said. "Fine! I know when I'm not wanted." She walked at the door. "Wait!" I held her hand. "Don't go. Just stay here, I'll be back in a jiff." I said. She sat on my bed.

Time Skipped After Shower

After I took my shower and worn my favourite hoodie, I head outside. I looked at Sophie, She is asleep. I went near to her. I sat down next to her. I looked at her. She looked like she was at peace. I didnt even feel like I wanted to wake her up. So, I let her sleep.

I went to my desk and started to revise....
