soyeon walked to school as usual.

she was slightly concerned that soonyoung didn't answer her texts last night.

he was probably just practicing, she thought.

she got to school and the atmosphere was.

weird.

everyone was looking around not really talking much.

soyeon was confused but continued to rummage through her locker.

she spent the whole day unbothered, unlike the rest of the school.

she didn't go to dance club. she had homework to do.

she hoped soonyoung wouldn't mind.

it got to the end of the day.

her friend solbin came up to her.

soyeon asked solbin if she'd seen soonyoung.

soyeon thought he was absent because he got ill.

solbin stared at her worryingly.

soyeon was confused.

"do you not know?"

soyeon looked back at solbin questioningly and turned her head to the side.

solbin held soyeon's hands.

"im sorry soyeon but"

"soonyoung committed suicide yesterday"
