Chapter 5

-Ty's pov-

"Ty your going to kill me!" Adam yelled as I tackled him. We were wrestling in the water, and getting weird looks from people. Mitch was sitting up on the docks by himself, laughing at us, but I swear Aqua and Hope were with him. Unless I was wrong, but I didn't think I was.

"Mitch, where's Hope and Aqua?" I asked, Adam stopped tackling me and Jordan stared at Mitch.
"Right here." He said pointing at nothing. He looked around for them, but no sign of them anywhere. He looked back at us, and quickly stood up and ran out. Adam, Jordan, and I followed. We looked around the beach, but no sign of her. We left the beach and walked all around looking for any signs of her, but nothing. We all suddenly saw flashing lights not to far away and loud music coming from the beach houses. We started to walk that way, to se if anyone saw her. Of if she was there.

-Hope's pov-

I was dancing with Aqua at the party while a song by a band called MKTO played, it was called 'Thank You.' We also had soda in our hands as we danced to the song. I suddenly felt a hand on my shoulder, and Westly came up to me and Aqua, followed by Scott and Aaron.
"Hey cutie." he said.
"Hi Westly!" I said over the loud music.
"Hey we're all going into the pool. Wanna join?" Scott asked.
"Yeah sure" I said before Aqua could answer.
"Alright sweet." Westly said as they all walked away. Aqua pulled me by my arm and took me away from the people.
"What?" I asked.
"We cant go in water you idiot!" Aqua yelled. I just remembered that, she was right I was an idiot.
"Crap!" I screamed.
"We have to get out of here." She said as she took my drink and threw it on the ground. We started to walk away, but I felt a hand pull me by mine. I turned around and Scott was there.
"Where do you think your going?" He practically yelled. A lot of heads turned to us.
"We... have to go...." I said.
"You cant leave! We're about to go swimming!" Scott rebottled. Westly and Aaron came to his side.
"Yo what's goin' on?" Westly asked.
"These bitches wanna leave." Scott answered. Aaron and Westly stared at us.
"No way! Not until we go swimming." Aaron said. I slipped my hand out of Scott's grasp.
"im sorry but we have to." I replied.
"Hey," Aaron started, "what's that around your neck?"
I looked down at my necklace, "a necklace, my mom gave it to me when I was just a little girl." I explained.
"No, no I've seen that before." Scott said, crap.
"Its just a necklace." Aqua said, as we both took a step back.
"I've seen that on Animal Planet (TV  show), its a mermaid thing." Westly pointed out. I opened my blue eyes wide, and Aqua did to but with her brown eyes.
"Colby! Sam!" Scott called. Two boys approached, one with brown hair and one with black.
"What?" Colby asked.
"I think we just found a new exhibit to the museum." Westly explained pointing at me necklace. Before they could get me or Aqua, we took off running, with them following us.
"Mitch!" I screamed as I kept running.
"Adam! Ty!" Aqua shouted.
"Tyler! Jordan!" I shouted louder.
"We kept running until we got onto the beach. It was over now, the beach was empty. I ran up to the docks, bad idea. I stopped on the edge and so did Aqua. Scott, Aaron, Westly, Sam, and Colby stood in front of us. I looked behind them, and I saw Mitch and the boys.
"MITCH!" I screamed at the top of my lungs, he noticed, and ran towards us, along with everyone else.
"Get them!" Scott yelled. Mitch and the boys came as soon as they were about to get us.
"Leave my sister alone!" He ordered.
"The mermaid is YOUR sister?" Westly asked with a smirk.
"Mermaid?" Adam asked, acting like he had no idea what was going on. Aaron and Sam jumped at me and Aqua, causing Aqua to fall in the water. Her tail grew, and she swam deeper down into hiding.
"Told you! Get Hope!" Aaron called.
"No!" Adam yelled grabbing at Westly.
"Hope get in the water!" Mitch screamed. I jumped in the water, and Mitch jumped in after me.
"Go! We'll take care of them!" Ty called. I nodded my head and swam deeper down with Mitch, catching up with Aqua.
"Go back home." Mitch said pointing in the direction of the palace. I glared at him, and swam back up to the water. Aqua held Mitch down, knowing what I was doing.
I got onto shore, my legs growing back. I ran over to Adam fighting with Westly, and I helped him out.
"Let go!" I screamed pushing him in the water.
"Whoa!" Adam exclaimed. I ran over to Ty, fighting Scott and helped him out to, with Adam helping Jordan.
"Hope!" Adam called. "Take this and call Jerome!" he said tossing me his phone. I scrolled through contacts when I saw 'Bacca, Jerome.' I called him, and he answered after four rings.
"Hello?" He answered.
"Is this Bacca, comma, Jerome?" I asked.
"Yes... who's this?" He asked.

"Im Adam's friend. We need your help! Get down to the beach ASAP!" I shouted as I hung up. I went back to helping the boys, but Westly got out of the water, and was on the phone. I helped out Jordan fighting Aaron, and while we were fighting, I saw a boy about Adam's age coming. I thought he was Jerome. He ran down to us and helped us out.

"Who are you?" He asked when he was done with Scott.
"Hope, Mitch's sister." I answered fighting Aaron.
He asked no questions from that, and we kept fighting when Mitch came and helped us, along with Aqua. I ran up to the docks to get Sam, but while we were fighting, I was picked up by Westly and Aaron, and I was exposed to the darkness.
