Worthless – Chapter 6

I grabbed Sam as quick as I could before he went to attack my brother  and quickly I felt scared but never have I felt this scared before.

“How can you call your own best friend that?!?!” He screamed pushing  against me to get to Lucas but I kept my ground pushing forward , guessing this wasn’t going to end until I did something about it. Lucas was now standing with a sneer on his mouth.

“We aren’t even friends, you destroyed Taylor!! Friends don’t do that! “He snapped, his position was like a bull just ready to charge at its target. Okay my time to step in before things got ugly. Shoving Sam I stood between them glaring at them both.

“Guys shut the fuck up!” I roared, anger filling up inside me, they both still stared at each other with death in their eyes but stayed quiet. Good enough for me....

“Okay “ I breathed relieved “I can’t bear to see you both at each other’s throats , don’t you think it’s bad enough me getting ignored by my friends!”

Sam looked away noticing what he just said was bad and unreasonable, when they could easily work this out.

“No she’s right I’m sorry “he sighed

“I wasn’t the one who gave her a hard time “Lucas quietly said

That so broke the line....

His head shot up as Sam was just about to storm over  but again I shoved him away hard , only making  Sam angrier.

“No! Let me rip his head off” he tried to push past me but swiftly grabbed him by the shoulders hitting him in the nuts. What had come over me?! Hitting my own boyfriend! But saying that he deserved it and probably did in the future too, no ‘one touches my brother..

Sam silently fell to the floor holding his privates, it felt good to put him in pain after all , running over to Lucas I wrapped my arms around his waist  as he hugged me tight.

“I’m sorry for doubting you and everything” I quietly said

“It’s fine really” he sighed 

I leant back to smile at him but as soon as that happened  Lucas’s gaze was suddenly behind me , Making myself turn around  warily and realised that Sam now stood with a blade in his palm. Everything inside me turned numb and my throat went dry, why was this happening? No ‘one dared to speak or act. His piercing eyes searched both of us but he swiftly kept them on me , holding convulsion  and bitterness , my hand reached down to touch to tightly hold Lucas’s , that’s when Sam gradually spoke.

“Move away Taylor, please?” 

But all that came out my mouth was “No”  if he was going to kill my brother , he had to go through me first.

“Move Taylor! This will be over quickly!” he cried
