Chapter 9

Once I had helped Lucas back to the room and in the bed the nurses took over, reattaching wires in him. How could I of done this to my own brother, when he looked out for me but I didn’t do the same. From now on, no matter what I was staying by his side, until the boy got sick of my face.

Walking down the hallway to get out of the front doors Scarlett strode in, noticing me quickly.

"Hey” she grinned

“Hi" I replied

Scarlett was one of Lucas’s good friends even though she was 18, and Lucas never had friends older than him, especially by a year.

She didn't say anything else so I expected that she was only here to see him.

"Down the hall, turn left, third door " I nodded

"Thanks” she said suddenly disappearing past me.

Arriving back home I run upstairs locking myself in my room, finally having time alone with no chaos going on around me.

As I held myself against the door the family album caught the corner of my eye, and a ton of emotions filled up inside of me. My hands run over it carefully remembering holding the book last when my mum was alive, we were putting the last pictures in, having a great time. Before I knew it I was looking through it.

“I miss you so much mum and dad , wish you were here to see how much I’ve fucked up , to scold me but say it's going to be okay in the end..." I cried falling to the floor in sobs once again,

Once my eyes closed that’s all I remembered before going into a deep dream I didn’t want to go into.

Looking around everything was white, and nothing was around me , what was going on? I forced my legs to move , which only felt like carrying lead. Quickly hooded figures walked out from nowhere , suddenly circling me . Not one spoke but one pulled thier hood off causing my breath to catch in my throat. Sam’s face turned from a stare to a sickening, mean, grin.

"Sam- what-?" My throat went tight

He took a step forward as his hand caressed my cheek softly that only hurt at his touch.

"Taylor, my beautiful little angel” he said

I turned around desperately for a way out, but Sam grabbed my wrist unexpectedly  pulling me full towards him while his teeth sunk into my neck and my screams filled the air.

Waking up with a shock I reached up to my neck, gratefully feeling nothing, it was only a dream, that felt also so real.

Wait, I sat in my bed. How is that possible? Lifting myself out a smell of breakfast wafted up my nose as I walked downstairs only seeing the person that I didn't want to see. Sam was placing full plates onto the table but once I coughed he looked up and slowly smiled.
