Chapter 16

Quickly parking outside the school I rushed in, Kids looked at me funny looking away after I glared back at them. One of Sam's friends stood by the wall, and I went to go up and ask but quickly noticed her walk out from a building, probably science. , Her head was down and she looked like she was in a rush, but Taylor obviously knew something, like she knew I was going to try and find her, She was a smart girl, because here I was watching her.

Running up I held her wrist and she looked up at me nastily, pulling away.

"Don't you dare, Lucas" she snapped, about to carry on walking but I blocked her way.

"Don't do this Taylor" I pleaded

People started to stare; didn't they know when to mind their own business?  Guess not in this school.

"You manhandled me! You forced me to not to see Sam again! ”she said through gritted teeth.

"I know! But for once I was trying to do the right thing, but I'm sorry since you didn't want that and it hurt you"

Taylor glared at me for a while longer before speaking, hoping she would give in like she always did.

"Just leave me alone Lucas" She answered weakly, but before she could leave herself I wrapped my arms around her, hugging her frail body tight. She didn't move only sighed.

"I'm so sorry Taylor” I whispered” Just please come home” 

She looked at me confused “I want to have a life! I want an education! I'll come home later..."

And with that she walked off quickly making my heart sink , she was struggling bad , but I couldn't do anything now apart from let her go and all I could do was go home.

Arriving through my house door, I decided to call my mum back. Dialling her number quickly  , it felt forever until she finally picked up.

"Honey? Honey what happened?" My mum’s voice was full of worry now.

I sighed but answered "Something happened last night, I did something I regret, and she hates me for it”

"What did you do Lucas!!" She's always cared for Taylor since she first held her when she was 8 months old but sometimes my mum acts like Taylors everything to her and I wasn't.

"I got a bit mad because of her and Sam being together, I couldn't help but hurt her, felt like I needed to do it for her to realise" I weakly said biting my lip.

I could tell my mother was getting frustrated and getting a little angry. “That was a stupid thing to do!  you know what they've been through and you just do that to Taylor!? What will she think now because when you say something different, she will change her mind"
