We raided the shops, buying everything we wanted. Akiko got a gleaming new sword, handcrafted by one of the player blacksmiths. He'd glared at me for a bit, before going back to flirting with Akiko.
In the end, Akiko convinced him and two of his friends to join our party. They were planning to grind monsters the whole night to get ahead of everyone else.
We miiiight have neglected to mention the fact that we'll be napping happily while they'd be hard at work, giving us a share of their experience points.
I don't think they would mind Akiko getting it, it's just... me. Nobody seems to like me in this world. I think Akiko is going to explode soon given all the glares inexplicably thrown my way. She's probably gonna rage soon and yell at people that I'm actually a girl too.
Akiko managed to get a room with twin bunks for a reduced price, after flirting haggling with the innkeeper.
She let me go and wash up first, while she did her best to prepare a meal with the ingredients we'd bought.
I stepped into the toilet, getting ready to bathe, before letting out a piercing scream as I caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror.
"UKIYO-CHAN WHAT HAPPENED?" Akiko yelled and poked her head into the bathroom before hurriedly slamming the door shut, cheeks flushing pink.
"ACK! GO AWAY! I'M HALF NAKED!" I screamed at Akiko.
"WAIT WHY DO YOU LOOK LIKE A GUY? DID THE GAME ACTUALLY TURN YOU COMPLETELY INTO A GUY?" Akiko said, sounding like she was going to laugh.
"It's not funny..." I said, in an attempt to preserve whatever was left of my dignity, before completely dissolving into giggles with Akiko.
Once we had both washed up, I was depressedly slumped on the dining table, while Akiko brought out the food.
"Sorry if the food tastes weird, I only just upgraded my cooking skill," Akiko said shyly.
Just then, there was a knock on the door. Akiko got up to answer it, while I didn't even bother to move. I was far too depressed. I couldn't even use the toilet properly without screaming.
Two guys came in, the ones who'd joined our party. Takumi and Hoshi.
"Hey, we're going off to the boar fields now. When you're ready, come and find us!" one of them said, winking at Akiko.
I raised my head, hoping to see who had come in.
That was when they caught sight of me and all hell broke loose.
