"You're living with him??!!!?" Hoshi yelled.
Wait. I recognise that voice. It was my classmate from my previous school in America.
"Hoshi-kun?" I timidly asked. "Is that you?"
His mouth dropped open. "Akiko-chan! But why are you here? Why are you living with... that GUY?"
"No! No! No...! This is just a misunderstanding. I'm not living with her... I'm just leaving now! Let's go to the fields!" Ukiyo hurriedly changed the subject.
She- wait, is she a he now? That's really confusing. Anyway, she/he dragged Hoshi and the dude called Takumi out the door, to where the blacksmith, Kaori, was waiting.
In our private chat, she quickly messaged me, "Please stay in our room! You don't want to be attacked by any weird people! I'm safe here with your buddies. Is there anything you want me to pick up on the way back?"
I answered back, "Try to find more ingredients. I'll make Hoshi-kun, Takumi-san and Kaori-san a meal too after hunting."
"Ok! Take a rest first. Tommorow, YOU OWE ME WAFFLEZ!" Sighing, I realised that Ukiyo must already be delirious from lack of sleep. Oh well. I decided to pass the time exploring our new house and experimenting with food.
