Chapter Six - Ukiyo

I just blindly followed the guys around, and randomly flung my sword around whenever i saw an enemy. My superior sword allowed me to cut through enemies easily even though I was falling asleep. In comparison, the other guys, who'd slept the whole day, were alert and swinging at the enemies with all their might. But they weren't even half as good as Akiko and I, even when we fought by ourselves.

Eventually, as dawn broke, even they were exhausted.

I was so damn tired I decided that I didn't even care. I just flopped down on the grassy fields, not wanting to walk anymore.

I felt someone poke me.

More pokes.

Eventually, the guys decided I fainted, or something. One of them picked me up, (probably Takumi, who'd only raised his strength stats) and they started on the way back home. I heard snippets of their conversation, "-thank goodness he's so light, if not-" "-who do you think she-" "-pretty-"

When we finally reached the Town of Beginning, I was already rested and recharged. Once I heard the words "We're here!", I jumped out of Takumi's arms, accidentally performing a backflip. This game was so trippy.

Akiko waved at us from the doorstep as the aroma of food drifted into our nostrils.
