" Welcome to the VIP suite. We hope you enjoy your stay here. "

The bell girl said as she opened the door revealing its fancy and magnificent interior. It was one of the most luxurious hotel rooms I have ever seen. The bed was king-sized with pure white, Hawaiian cotton sheets. I have my own desk, a thirty-six-inch TV with video and DVD, a comfortable looking armchair near the window and, on the other side of the floor-to-ceiling windows was my own private terrace. And the bathroom! Everything is in marble and handcrafted tiles.

I then walked to the window to open the blinds as I found myself looking at the beautiful enchanting view of the deep rich blue sea. I then quivered to think how much it might cost to even stay a night at this hotel.

I then sat and wonder of what adventures the universe has in plan for me as I let myself fall into a trance as I hypnotically stare at the amazing view of the sea that is in front of me.

After I finished unpacking my stuffs, the exhaustion started to hit me as I laid myself on the softest bed I had ever known in my life. I stared at the perfectly carved ornate white ceiling as million of thoughts start running through my mind.

Has everyone at home notice I'm gone yet ?

Is Aunt Wiwik doing well ?

Do they miss me ?
.
.

Do they even care ?

Sigh..

I drug my mind back from those pessimistic depressing thoughts as I pulled my phone out of my pocket.

16 missed calls

20 unread messages.

I hesitated at first, but then I decided to scroll through it anyways.

10 missed calls from Dani. 6 from Mom and wow guess what, none from Dad. Shocking. I then opened up my phone messages to see all of the texts came from Dani.

" Maya, I'm sorry. "

" Please forgive me. I'm so sorry. I love you."

" I miss you. "

" Please come back, don't you pity me ? "

"I made a promise to your Dad to take care of you. I screwed up and my Dad is going to kill me for God's sake. I'm sorry."

" I'll treat you better. "

"Just come back home, Maya."

"I love you."

.

And I sigh yet again.

My eyes wander back to the ceiling as my eyes started to feel heavy and hazy as I slowly drift away to sleep, half-hoping to not wake up.

But to my dismay, I woke up to the sound of the phone vibrating beside me as I reluctantly reach for it. I cringed at the bright light flashing from my phone as squint my eyes to see who the caller is.
