Chapter 8- Cause we are sisters

ZANIA POV

 i am home today no work and no school.. and no August...he had to go out of town for a few days. i am gonna miss him but this gives me a few days to clear my head and think this through.. now dont get me wrong i like August but i feel like this relationship is moving to fast, i mean all girls want their happy ending and we are excited when we get it.. im not saying i have my happy ending because its way to early in the relationship to think that, today is not a good day for me  i have yet to get out of my bed my eyes are wet and my heart and brain are heavy.. i hate when i get in my emotions like this i start to feel like i am not loved.. this feeling is what drew me to my past life.. i felt as though i was living for nothing and the only way to feel wanted i had to pick up a gun... i had finally found my missing piece my happy ending, then it all came crashing down right in front of me

 *flashback* 

Mel- Z... you got this right baby? 

Me- yea baby i got this...can i take him out already.. what are we waiting for? 

Mel- (laughs) girl relax your gonna kill him... you were trained for this

 mel is the love of my life, my first everything.. we have been going strong for 9 years, we do everything together .. and i wouldnt trade him in for nothing in the world. he showed me the way of life my first shoot out i was with Mel and i was safe... why?.... because he told me if was either my life or theirs. and i love my life so it had to be theirs....  

Me- how long is he gonna be in there? 

Mel- (turns her face towards him) not long but when he comes out i want you to blast him blast him as if your life depends on it babygirl (kissed her) 

Me- you got it baby  

as we turn back toward the house i see the figure of a man walking out of the front door heading to his car...before he could even unlock the door i shoot.. hitting him right in his chest, he falls to the ground and something falls out of his hand, i make my way over to the body and i see a baby laying on the ground next to the body i get closer and it is a baby girl,my heart stopped mid beat i run back to the van  

Me- Mel he had a baby with him omg i think i killed the baby  

Mel - what you mean he didnt have anything in his hands  

Me- thats wat i said but watching closer i saw it drop its a baby shes not moving either but i think i killed her i hope not omg please say i didnt kill that baby 

Mel- nah baby i dont think you did lets go check one more time  

we walk back to the body and i see the baby open her eyes and start to cry i panic and pick her up running back to the van with her in my hands  

Me- what are we gonna do with the baby 

Mel- i dont know kill it i guess 

Me- ARE YOU FUCKING CRAZY NOOOOO... lets take her to the hospital we dont have to stay just drop her off in the ER and leave i wont feel right killing an innocent baby Mel 

Mel- iight you got it babe fuck it lets go home and change first then take her that way we can make sure she is ok 

Me-(smiles) ok .. thank you 

Mel- no problem Princess

 we go back to the trap and change quickly and rush the babygirl to the hospital waiting in the ER for almost an hr.. the doctor finally comes out telling us she is fine but they have no records of her parents .. i look up at Mel and he shakes his head already knowing where im going with this he tells the doctor since she has no rightful parents we would like to adopt her, without a second question the doctor gets the paperwork ready.. changing her name we take home baby Melanie Zania Martin a beauty even at 2 months. she was my everything and i loved her with everything in me. until he took her away from me
