Chapter7- Lovers, friends..... soulmates??

 I have been avoiding zai and August after the kiss in the kitchen between me and Avery.. honestly i can not tell you guys what that was about, his lips came into view and i couldn't stop myself i had to kiss him back.. the rest of that day was really a blur my thoughts were on Dalvin and how i was going to tell him.. oh yea we are Dating now and he is helping me with my Training for the assistant manager test.. im excited about the new position and what it is offering.... today everybody is off but i am going to spend my day with Dalvin... im still avoiding my sister and her boyfriend :)... i get in the shower and do my hygiene thing , since its still fairly nice out i through on my black capri sweats a pink tank top and my pink steve madden pumps i put my hair in a high bun add light make- up and go grab an apple and a bottled water out the kitchen, my phone rings telling me i have a txt 

*txt convo* 

Dalvin- im outside hurry beautiful 

Kinya- ok im coming now 

*end convo*

 i walk outside to see him sitting in his car waiting for me he smiles as i walk to the car. 

Me- hey handsome you ready 

Davlin- yea where you wanna go? 

Me-you know the city surprise me (smiles) 

Dalvin- ok so lets start with lunch, i take it from the apple you havent eatting yet 

Me- (laughs) no i havent actually so lunch sounds good 

Dalvin-ok then we can go.... nevermind im just gonna surprise you (smiles) 

Me- ok

 he pulls off toward Manhattan he takes me to Chevy's (its one of the best Restaurants in New york) i walked inside and the set up was breath taking, we are seated and order our drinks once the waiter walks off i fear for the worst.. time to tell him about this kiss 

Me- so babe i have to tell you something but i dont want you to get mad 

Dalvin- i wont i promise (sticks out his pinky and smiles)  

Me- (laughs locking my pinky in his) ok so remember i told you we all went to coney island the day before yesterday.. well before we left out my sister and i got some bad news and her boyfriend came to comfort her and..... well his brother came to comfort me and we ummm we kinda kissed

 His facial expression did not change and i waited for the blow up.. it never came he took a sip from his water and rubbed his chin.... 

Dalvin- did you kiss him back 

Me- yes.. but it was a reflex thing im sooo sorry it really didnt mean anything i swear 

Dalvin- (puts his head down then looks up again) its cool baby (smiles) as long as it didnt mean anything im cool.. cant tell you to stay away from him hes your neighbor but i will say be careful i dont want to have to cap his ass (laughs) 

Me- (laughs) ok  

we order our food and eat in peace.. after lunch he takes me to the M&M store and i go a little crazy in there lol he said get whatever you want.. after M&M world he takes me to the park and we just sit by the duck pond and talk... the sun starts to set and he takes me home  

ME- i had fun today thank you (smiles)

Dalvin- no problem ma i do it to see you smile (gently rubs her chin) so ill see you tomorrow at work.. you take your test to are you ready? 

Me- i think so.... i hope i pass 

Dalvin- well you have the best teacher in the company so you will pass
