Part 9: Unveiling

Mikey was nervously putting the last touches on their memory video. That day, he would be showing it to all the others, having worked on it for a solid three weeks. Their was a flicker of doubt shifting into his mind as he watched it back, what if they didn't like it?
To calm himself, he decided to text Emma, knowing she'd have some words of wisdom for him.

From:Mikey
I'm unveiling the video to the boys today.

From:Mikey
What if they don't like it???

From:Emma
Stop freaking out, they'll love it.

From:Mikey
But you've not seen it, some of it looks weird

From:Emma
You over think everything, it'll be perfect, you've spent time on it, don't give in now.

Relaxed by Emma's reassurance, Mikey took a deep breath, and shut down the editor, having saved the movie one last time. Then he plugged into his headphones, deciding to watch back some of the videos of Emma he had on his phone, until Blair was ready and Rye and Andy had come back from the gym.
About an hour later, Mikey was pacing in the kitchen, while the other boys sat with Blair around the laptop on the sofa. He'd put the video up for them, as it was 10 minutes long, and he was so worried about their reactions though, he'd walked into the kitchen shut the door and started pacing, anticipation turning him into someone full of worry.
Finally after what seemed like an age, Rye opened the door and dragged him through to the other room.
"That was amazing, you've done what we've done justice." Blair said, "I'm so proud of what you boys have achieved so far this year, and Mikey I think you've I stilled that pride in everyone with that video." Everyone chipped in with their bodies of gratitude, and Mikey let out the breath he'd been holding in.
Emma had been right, the boys a had loved it and he was so glad. His had work has not been for nothing.
