"Can't explain with words, how much this has hurt, she was the one I held so tight." - Don't go, Austin Corini

It was about lunch time, on a Saturday, and Mikey was taking a bit of a break from putting the video together. Out of the blue, he received a couple of twitter dms, saying that there were some girls at the park and they'd love it if they'd come say hi. Not wanting to let anyone down, Mikey went out, despite being the only one in the flat besides Blair.

When he got down there, he discovered that there were two girls at the park. One was sat on the swings, he didn't recognise her but neglected to say anything, not wanting to offend her. The other was at with her back to him on one of the benches. But when she heard him coming, she turned around and he realised it was Emma.

"Hey," he said, with no better conversation starter to use.
"Hey to you too." She said, flashing her little grin at him, before pointing across at the girl on the swings. "This is Amelia, I met her through you guys, and she's the one who organised us getting here, we should go say hi." So they did.

Amelia turned out to be an amazingly funny girl, who Mikey noticed had considerably cheered Emma up, in the short space of time since he'd last seen her. She laughed along with Amelia, and Mikey joined in.

After about 10 minutes, of them just sat around the climbing frame chatting about nothing, Amelia said she was going to go get some food, she'd be back in a few minutes. As she left, Mikey noticed her wink over her shoulder at Emma. He smiled, Emma had found a good friend in Amelia.

Amelia was 15 minutes getting her food, and she returned with an empty paper bag, it seemed her food hadn't lasted very long. But in that time, Mikey and Emma talked about so much. She told him about how things had been for her. Things seemed to have for better, and Mikey felt glad. For reasons he couldn't describe, he felt a connection to this girl, like she was something more than so many he'd met before.
In return for her opening up to him, he told her of the things that scared him. He told her about the quiet niggling in his brain that said he wasn't good enough for the band, that said he was useless at nothing but editing.

She listened to him, just as he had her and when he'd finished, she pulled him into a hug. In his she whispered something.
"You'll always be good enough for us Roadies."

The edit at the top, is one that I made for the boys. It's not great, but I'm planning on uploading another one to my YouTube channel soon. It'd be cool if you could check it out.
