Part 6: Roadies United

There was a very special meeting in Leicester Square, about a week after Mikey started work on the video. A large group of London roadies were meeting, to celebrate everything that Road Trip had done for them, and were going to walk through the streets of London, to promote them. What they didn't know was that Mikey had seen the promo and the boys had decided to come too...

Early that morning, well early for Road Trip, just before they were due to leave the square, a car pulled up. Jasmine who had been coordinating all the roadies was shocked, she was sure everyone that had registered their interest was already there, and the car stopped so deliberately it couldn't just be a passer by. To the surprise of everyone, not just Jasmine, the people that stepped out of the car where not more roadies, but Road Trip themselves.

Mikey was first, then Andy, Rye, Jack and Brooklyn last. Andy nodded at the car, and it drove off. Some of the girls where in shock, rooted the spot, whilst others ran to the boys, too excited to see them to let anything else matter. They stayed in Leicester Square for an extra half an hour, all talking, those of them that were there getting to speak to the boys individually, with Mikey taking little clips for the video.

Not long before they were going to leave the square, Mikey spotted one of the girls hanging near the back of the bunch. Not wanting her to be left out, he went over to talk to her. She was realy shy at first, only answering Mikey's questions, but as they started talking she opened up, and they had a really funny conversation. Just before it was time to leave, Mikey remembered to ask her name, for he knew he wanted to speak to her again, she lowered her voice, almost like she wanted no on else to hear, before informing him that her name was Emma.

Then, it was time for the group to depart, as they did, they all walked past Mikey and Andy holding cameras, so they could get lots of clips for the video. They gave them all a smile, so grateful for what they were doing, but Mikey saved one extra big smile for Emma and Jasmine, after all they both deserved it.
