A/N: Unfortunately this will be the last chapter of Light's Lost Hero well because... I feel there are gonna be changes In the story and well this new upcoming character that will be coming In will change everything. Just a word of caution, I am bringing In Kingdom hearts Dream drop distance story line stuff Into my stories now. If you don't know what that game is, that's because It hasn't come out yet. But It is out In japan on the 3DS. Go on youtube and you might gain some ideas and understanding of The game.

Chapter Twelve: Cloak of Burden.

I turned and looked at the door, setting my box of assorted items to the side. I had brushed past some loose decorations that had hung from the ceiling. The room was quiet and It had earned an Eerie feeling to It. I grabbed the handle of the door and slowly twisted It, letting the light's from the streets of Twilight Town flood In. I saw a red cloaked man stand In the doorway, remaining motionless to the sounds from In and out. Unfortunately, I could not see his face.

"Um...Hi....can I help you?" I asked. The man gave a grave 'hmph' and brushed past me.

I turned and looked at the man who which had his back on me. I had closed the door slowly, as It creaked. I fully turned and faced his back with my arms crossed. I cleared my throat.

"I asked you a question m-"

"Silence child or they'll hear you," The figure harshly said to me." They musn't find you or your fate will be terrifying." He warned,

I raised my eyebrow and walked past the man and looked around the house. There had been no sign of Fuu and the others. That was strange, they were just here a second ago. I wondered the living room some more before The man began to speak again.

"I have came to take you with me to a friend of mine's home. They'll be able to keep you safe. I don't want you around those stubborn dream eaters* or Organization XIII," The man muttered.

"Dream Eaters?"

The figure sat down on one of the couches and looked towards me. I still couldn't see his face.

"Dream Eaters are creatures that eat nightmares and create good dreams for those that are graced with the holy 'pure heart'. Though, It seems that those who aren't up to par with the standards of the beings, they could be cursed with nightmares forever or for those unfortunate people, They could be living In the nightmares forever In their sleep." The man explained.

This all made no sense. Between the fact that I was a normal human being; now a vampire. I was descended the ownership of a keyblade, becoming a organization member, along with complications of having my own body. This made no sense whatsoever to me. It had seemed my life was just a down ward spiral and It couldn't have ended.

"How Is this got to deal with me?" I asked.." I mean, I never have seem or heard of these 'Dream Eaters'. How Am I supposed to know these things even exist? Just who are you?!"

The man held up his hand to me and had silenced me. He stiffened a cough and had removed his hood. He had shaggy black hair and silver eyes, he almost seemed lifeless. He looked at me with his cold, lifeless eyes. It had sent shivers down my spine and I had flinched.

" My name Is Haji Ne, I am an apprentice of a man by a man under the name, Yen Sid. I am also his adopted son and I am your guardian. You see, we go back Into the ancient years of life with our knowing. You may not know this, but, You are not from the world you call Earth and long ago You were sent there for your safety. Unfortunately, I cannot tell you why, because that information Is confidential. But to stick onto topic, Dream e-,"

"Stop It," I said looking down. I had fallen to my knees, clutching my head with my hands." You're lying, I know where my home Is and that's-"

"Here." He said. He got up and looked down on me.

Vanitas hadn't lied about me being from another world and now I fully believe him. Haji picked me up and had stood me up. I folded my arms against my chest and I felt tears fall from my face. Why was I even crying?

"Stop your crying and grow some strength for once. Sometimes I wonder what has even brought you here if You hadn't gained any. Yen Sid has always said to always follow what's right for your heart. And what's right to my heart Is that you follow my instructions." Haji said.

I wiped away my tears and looked up at Haji. He gave me a stern look and turned away.

"I'll come for you later but it is mandatory that you come. No excuses," With a wave of a finger an Indigo light ascended from the ground and a strange portal emerged. He looked at me once more.

" Don't worry, I'll bring your friends back. In fact this'll seem all a dream when you wake up. Because I did In fact take you from your original location giving the place a reasonable backdrop," He began.

I grabbed onto his cloak." Wait, how Is that possible?" I asked.

He yanked away from me and strolled closer and closer to the portal but then stopped.

" You'll learn It as you begin to train." He said walking into the portal. The portal fanished Into thin air And I felt myself shoved onto the floor hard.

"Alex!" A voice yelled. I felt myself being shaken by somebody. Yet, I hadn't any clue who.

"Alex!" The voice yelled again, slightly growing louder. I felt the grip on me grow stronger.

I heard a curse under the person's breath and I was lifted. I was placed on something cold and I had felt that all the warmth had left my body.

"So what do we do now?" A voice said, "It's not like we could get a doctor or something. I mean-"

I heard loud footsteps echo In the house. "Don't worry, she'll be up soon. Promise." Fuu muttered silently. 

Seifer sighed and ran his hand through his hair. Rai seemed Focused on the floor and had remained quiet.

Seifer stopped and looked at Fuu.

"Why have you all suddenly began to talk?" Seifer Asked." I mean you were silent before Alex came, but now you all suddenly just changed."

Fuu shook her head and kicked some loose decorations that were on the floor, away. She loomed over my body; Her stare felt like a dozen sharp knives. She sat beside me  and brushed a few dark strands of hair from my face and had looked away. Seifer kicked a box and left the room and into the hallway of the house. There was a slam of a door and the house grew quiet.

"Dammit," Fuu muttered," Sometimes I just wish that he'd give me a chance to speak. Don't you Rai?"

Rai nodded."Ya y'know," He agreed."Should I go talk to him?"

Fuu nodded."Yes, please."

Rai got out of his seat and went to Seifer's room. Fuu stroked a few strands of hair away from my face with a slight smile.

"And to you, a fare awakening. Please understand that not all things may be happy, but I know that you'll wake up this time,tomorrow."

Well, what a crappy ending of this short book. Yes, I have to admit that, It's true. So look forward to my THIRD book of the series coming up. LOL and i give you all permission to comment yell at me for the weird ending. It was so abrupt.....
