As I sat down in the hard leather chairs out side the detention room, A kid walked out of the Head masters office laughing and mumbling under there breath. "hey Riley!!" they gasped as they realised my presence. I didnt even know them, "um hi...?" i said slowly out of confusion. "dont you remember me? Chris? i know your brother - from the party?" He made his way towards me and smiled a flirty smile - oh no, here we go! - "oh yeah, sure.." I still had no clue who he was. "So ive been meaning to ask you... the summer dance is coming up soon... and i was k-kind of wondering ... if um... you'd go with me? we'd look great together in my appinion" he laughed and touched my arm. At the touch of him again my arm, i slightly twitched and cringed. "... i've already got a date, im sorry." With that he asked who as I pulled my mobile out to be greated with **1 unread text** - Jess. With that I said "talking of the devil, i'll let you go now." I walked away slowly dying to read the text from Jess.

As i sat down again i opened the text which read "Hiya, werent in the class for more than a minute! record much? ;) either way, How you doing? :D <3" my heart raced as i stared dumbly at the heart. "heyy! ^-^ boy am i glad to talk to you! :O ahha! but dont deny the fact youre into my rebel-ness ;) muhaha! :P but im doing well, up untill this guy asked me to the summer dance O.o but other than that im great :D how are you doing ba- dude? :D p.s whats with the heart? ;) <3" I couldnt flirt anymore :O felt crazy normal though! i just want to kiss this girl once more. At the thought of that kiss my heart raced and I felt all dazed, but the confusion hit me - was this normal?

The phone buzzed again making me jump slightly. "why are you glad to see me? :P and oh yess ;) ahah! :') and oh.. what did you say? and dont be scared to call me babe! silly :P and im great! Thank you! :D and oh i dont know, you deserve it :) ehehh but i was actually wondering, want to hang out tonight as its not school tomorrow? :$ <3" I almost jumped out of my seat with excitement over thinking of seeing her again tonight. "cause youre amazing and beautiful? :D and IF my bodies reaction wasnt discusted enough, then i sure felt it! ahah! no ofcourse! and totally! id love to see you tonight! :D i really would :D I want to take you somewhere so put some jeans youre willing to reck on! :) ahah! <3" With that I sent the message and Got called into the head masters office.

school had dragged all day, I got suspended from math's for a week - Great! No seeing Jess. I walked up to my room and grabbed a old ruck sack out of my cupboard and threw it onto my bed. I literally skipped my way to the wardrobe as "Of monster and men - Little talk" played on my Ipod dock.

Looking in the mirror I put a scruffy Gun's and Roses band tee against me along with a pair or slim fit jeans with a Waist coat - nodding slowly as the bedroom door creaked. I looked over to see my brother and his Fiance stood in the door way smiling and giggling. "Where you off to? By the way you're bouncing around its to see Jess?" He winked and Charlotte nudged his side and asked "We'll leave a Key on-top of the door, have fun!" with that she pushed Seth out of the door and smiled.I laughed softly at this as I chucked my clothes on with some Lynx Excite. I threw a spare jumper into the back pocket of the ruck sack and a blanket. Then I ran down stares as I received a message "Call up when you're ready! :D can you just tell me where your taking me now? (a) <3". I shook my head in amusement and ran into the kitchen as I grabbed a few cans of monster and a bottle of juice and some pasta from the fridge.

"RILEY!!" a shout from the back room seemed pretty angry, what have I done now... I ran into the room where my mam was holding a letter and a box of medication. "Where doI start! SUSPENDED from math's coming up to your GCSE'S!?!? Andyou havent taken your medication for how long?! You Need to take these Ri! seriously, you're going to get really ill!" She was really mad, her face was bright red. "i'm... sorry..." I rubbed my neck and she just exhaled loudly and threw the medication at me "better to start now than never, aye!" She walked into the kitchen and silence hit me. I stood there for a moment looking at the box of tablets. Tablets for something it wont cure... I just opened the door and left, throwing the tablets into my ruck sack on the way.

I ran across the road towards Jess's house and knocked her door. "Jeeeess!! it's that young lady from across the road!" It must have been her dad 'cause that's when he opened the door and smiled a welcome, warm grin signalling to wait. After three minutes of waiting in the summers heat, luckily the sun had just started to set and the cool breeze cooled my skin. That's when the door opened and a girl in scuffed blue jeans and a plain white vest. She leant in and hugged me eagerly - that was until her parents came into the hall and she loudly brushed it off with "Told you, a leaf was on your bag!" with a deep smurk. I nudged her playfully. "Don't be out to late girls, be careful and god bless! He's always looking over you" Her mother said with a wink and kissed Jess's forehead and her dad embarrassed her.

Once we got out of the street I grabbed her hand tight and told her to follow as I started to run with her hand in mine. She looked Very confused as I laughed at her expression and determination to slow down. Eventually, after running through a maze of street we reached the beach. Still not slowing down I tugged her hand to make her keep up as we reached a Cave which had rested gently against the Late tide. She stopped as I tried pulling her into the dim cave and shook her head. She looked scared to death and all colour from her face had turned to a pale white colour. I grabbed both of her hands and looked deep into her eye's and whispered "Trust me! please..." she bit her lip as she thought to herself. "here!" I said quickly as i pulled a glow stick out of my waist coat. "have this, I promise I wont let go of your hand!" as i gently squeezed her hand as her fingers were linked with mine. She nodded her hand as I snapped the glow stick with my knee and put it on a rope. That's when I placed this "necklace" around her neck with my spare hand and Kissed her cheek.

As we walked into the dark, silent cave we moved slowly but straight as a dim blue glow shon at the end of the tunnel. She looked at me and whispered "what is that...?" I just smiled as we walked closer and closer till i heard a gasp from beside me. I answered her question with "Theyre glow worms. Theyve been here since i was a kid and this is where i come to think, but i want it to be OUR place!" She Just turned to me and hugged me as I was mentally freaking out of excitement. "thank you!" she muffled into my shoulder. With that I put a blanket i had brought down and told her get the rest of the stuff out while I lit a few glow sticks to put around us.

"What are there for?" She said as she held the box of medication up. - crap, forgot about them! - "uh... theyre for my migranes, they get bad sometimes, just to keep them in check.." I lied. She just nodded and carried on with the unpacking.

We sat in the cave for what seemed for just as little as short hour, but Jess received a text saying "Where are you honey? it's late and me and your father are worried!! xxx" That's when we noticed the time was 1:30am. "I best get home! Its been... perfect and just amazing to know that you'd share this!" She seemed honestly grateful as she bit her lip innocently. "It's been my pleasure! but Jess? ... I was kind of wondering if you'd go to the spring-dance with me?" Her eye's lit up but she looked down sadly at her hands and said "look... Riley, its more complica-" her phone buzzed on the blanket "- i better go..." With that she got up and gave me one last look and walked away with a look of... fear on her face? I was sat in the dark cave as the glow sticks died out and I collected my stuff and headed home. Little did i know, my life saving medication was still on the rocks where Jess had left them.
