Only Leo had opposed him like this before. But for a while now, mech x4 and it's pilot/co-pilots have also been fighting back. Apparently, their only motive was to 'stop the world from ending.' But why? I was only doing this to make a better, peaceful world. Maybe... maybe they're right. Should I stop my plans? Hmmm, no, but I will alter them. You wanted to stop me from destroying the world mech x4? Well, it's too late for you to do that now, because now I'm going to rule it.
I think I'll keep this change to myself and go get that pocket of ooze under the school...
Btw, this happens before Ryan and the others know who the boss is. Leo hasn't been rescued, and they haven't read Harper's mind yet. (This is also a short chapter... really short)
