Mech x4: The Way of the Technopath

CH:3- Blackmail

Pic above is a secret room in Harper Industries. I also like the song above as well so feel free to listen. This chapter is going to be from Harper's point of view (his thoughts and all that stuff).

Finally, I could find out who the pilot was. I suspected that the pilot is the son of those two people Leo experimented on a while back. Sadly, they went into hiding because I tried to capture them. Even though I think it's him, I still don't know who he actually is though.

"Morris! Get my scientists working on tracing that voice right away! I will NOT walk away without finding the answer, no matter how long it takes!"

"Yes sir."

I love how obedient my officers are. It's refreshing to feel powerful.

The room hummed to life as computers began to boot up and process the voice.

"Sir! We got it!"

I walked up to the screen and the face I saw was surprising. On the computer was an image of Ryan Walker, my girlfriend's son. I had actually taken a liking to Ryan, and even bonded with him. He was going to be one of the people in the higher ranks of my new regime because his mom would've been my queen. But now... now he was going to be experiment fugitive #1.

I'm not surprised that he's been living in adoption. Of course his parents would want him to live a normal life.

Suddenly, I had an idea. I picked up my phone. It rang once... twice... three times...

"Hello?"

"Hi beautiful. Have you heard about the school?"

"No, what happened? Are Ryan and Mark ok?"

"Yes, they're fine, but the school isn't. Mech x4 blew it up! I've been worried about you and I want you to come and stay with me at Harper Industries. It's the safest place to be right now. I can send you a helicopter to pick you up if you want."

"Oh my gosh... yes I'll come to be with you. I can't believe this happened!"

"Me neither! My helicopter will be there in a jiffy! Bye!"

"Bye! Love you!"

This was perfect. With Ryan still injured from the exploding base and the encounter with my modified chameleon monster, he wouldn't stand a chance! He would most likely come alone thinking he can save his mom himself too!
Ryan was making this too easy for me.

Heroes and their courage and bravery, it's just too cute with them thinking that those 'traits' will get them anywhere. Soon Ryan will be in my clutches, and I'll have a new experiment. Leo does not matter anymore, after I have Ryan, he'll willingly turn himself in if Ryan's life is threatened. After all, he is their only hope.

DUN DUN DUN!!!! Harper has a plan, Ryan is still injured from shrapnel and a monster that deepened his wound and he can't lift his right arm basically at all, and the evil side is winning by a lot. But little does Harper know, there are actually four people in mech x4, not one. How long will it last like this? Idk just continue to read this story if you are. Bye!
