All eyes were on me

About half an hour before I went on stage I saw a familiar face in the crowd. A girl I absolutely hated. Her name is Paige. She was probably the most popular girl in school. But she hated me so I hated her. She did anything to get attention.
"OH MY GOSH!" She squealed. "Ane how are you!?" She running up to me. Everyone was backstage and Ivan and I were heading there when she stoped us. "I'm okay thanks how are you?" I asked very freaked out about the fact that she was talking to me. "And you must be Emilio!" She yelled like we were deaf. And she completely ignored what I had just said. "Actually I'm Ivan." He said. He looked petrified. "Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry! You two look exactly the same!" She said all perky. "Well they are identical twins." I interjected. She then shot me a look that could burn through my skull. "Well you should know I come to this festival every year." She said ignoring me again. "Oh, that's fun." Ivan said. I'm pretty sure he had no clue what else to say. "Yeah, and I'm the current holder of the karaoke queen title!" She said. "Hey! Before I moved that was my title." I said. "Well things have changed." She snapped at me, then turned back to Ivan and smiled. "And my daddy owns this whole resort!" She said. "Wait! No he doesn't! My family is friends with the people who own it and it is definitely not your family!" I said. "Whatever!" She snapped. She was clearly trying to impress Ivan. "Doesn't your dad own the pharmacy downtown that all the drug dealers go to and ask for illegal drugs without a prescription, when to strongest stuff you have that you can get with out a prescription is Tylenol extra strength?" I asked slapping her verbally into place. She looked red like she was going to blow up. Ivan turned to her quickly to finish the conversation. "Well we should get going, Ane's going to sing." He said. "Ha! That's funny!" She said while doing her evil cackle. "She can't sing, well at least not better than me! I'm the karaoke queen!" She said. "Didn't we used to compete in karaoke contests? And as I remember I always won. That's why I was the karaoke queen before I left. And when I did leave you could take my title because I was no longer there." I said getting tired of her. "I should be on that stage instead of you!" She yelled at me and pointed at my face. "Become successful and stop living off your daddy and one day you will be." I said then I grabbed Ivan by the wrist and pulled him away. "Well she seems like a bitch." He said to me once I had dragged him back stage. "No kidding." I said kinda laughing about how straight forward he was.
All of a sudden the announcer started speaking. "We have a treat for all you! You might recognize them from YouTube and you might recognize her from just walking around town. It's team 10!" Everyone started cheering and we walked on stage. We introduced ourselves and then Tessa did her dance. Which, by the way, was very hot. She is such an amazing dancer. Then it was my turn to sing. "Umm" I stammered. Then I remembered how much I wanted to stick this performance in Paige's face. "I'll sing the song I won my karaoke crown with." I said confidently. "Roar by Katy Perry, please."
The music started to play. I sang calmly to the beginning. As the song went along I got more and more energized. I looked at Paige and her face was nothing but pure anger. The last few lyrics team ten came on stage and sang them with me. When the music finished the crowd started to clap. The announcer came back onto the stage with us. "Well I think that deserves the karaoke crown, permanently! The crown of karaoke goes to Ane and the rest of team ten!" He yelled and everyone cheered except Paige. She literally got on the stage and yelled at the announcer. "What about the karaoke competitions? What's the point of having them?" "Well if team ten are the kings and queens there can be a prince or princess, right?" He said to the crowd not even making eye contact with her. "Uggggh" she yelled and stomped off the stage. "Well that was interesting." Ivan whispered into my ear. "Yes, yes it was." I replied.
