R E A G A N
Aleta and Vale had taken over my house. I wasn't used to living with anybody, and it wasn't a nice change. First of all, they ate too much. Every day I had to go and catch something new because these two humans ate like wolves. Secondly, they used up all my firewood. I had only gathered enough to last the whole winter, and that was only for when Vale visited me, which wasn't often. So all in all I had about twenty logs, at the most. Half those logs were done in a day thanks to these two. They just complain about how cold it is, and how hungry they are, and they don't even care that I want to slit both their throats off. Not Vale's of course, but he's getting pretty close. It's hard to get firewood in the winter when everything is wet. Luckily, it would be spring soon, and they could build their own damn house where they can happily live together. Aleta would be happy with that.
Aleta. I didn'y really know what to make of her, just that she was obsessed with Vale in every way possible. Whenever she was with him, which was always, she would get unnecesarily close to him and demand attention. Selfish bitch didn't even care that I was the one who let her stay here in the first place. Actually, if I had my way, she would be dead right now, her blood splattered all over the walls for decoration. But Vale was here, and I didn't want to be rude around my guest. So the red-headed freak stayed. I didn't have a problem with Vale staying. Actually... I did. Vale got too close to me that night. Too close. He would have died if Aleta hadn't shown up and saved the day. Why in the hell would he kiss me? Me?! I was beautiful, granted, but I was a blood-thirsty beast who could kill a man with a flick of my little finger. But no, he needed to stay and 'keep me company'. Well I've been living alone all my life and I'm not phyco yet. At least... I don't think I am.
I looked up at the ceiling of my room. Vale snored in the room next to me, and Aleta didn't make a sound in the room next to him. Luckily for them, I had extra rooms for emergencies. I didn't really count this as an emergency, but it was close enough. If Aleta left, I was screwed. I sat up in bed and stretched. I needed to get some fresh air. I leapt out of bed and went over to my closet. White dress after white dress lined the closet and I moaned. This would make some noise. I reached into my closet and felt along the linging. Ah, there it was. I pressed a small button and the little wooden closet creaked towards me. I winced as the creaking droned on and on as the wood slowly made it's way out. When the closet was all the way out, I stepped behind it and smiled. Row upon row of clothes of all shape and color lined the walls of the huge hidden room. I had to blend in with all the seasons, and I couldn'y just wear white now could I? There were blues, greens, reds, purples, yellows, oranges... any color imaginable. There were dresses, pants, skirts, shirts. There were high heels, flats, boots, sneakers. I walked past it all and came to a door. I slowly opened it and laughed as it opened. This was my favorite room. There was only one color.
Black. Black dresses, black boots, black jeans, black shirts, black everything. To make things better, weapons lined the walls and ceiling, glowing silver. I ran to a pair of black, skin tight jeans and put them on. A black shirt fit nicely on me, covered by a black hoodie. I pulled on a pair of black boots and grabbed twin daggers off the wall. I strapped them to my belt and headed out. Once in my room, I closed the closet and opened my bedroom door. Peaking out, I walked down the hallway and into the main room. Easing the front door open, I slipped out into the night. It was dark out, with only a hint of moonlight. I smiled as a cold breeze hit my face. I didn't feel the cold, but the breeze was nice. I padded through the snow and looked behind me. Footsteps... not good. With a wave of my hand, the snow covered my tracks and I smiled. Being a sorceress had its pirks.
I spun aorund in a circle and let the snow hit my face as it got caught upward in another breeze of wind. I decided to see what the Ashwalkers were doing at this time of night. I walked a while and then came to the river. Not giving it a second thought, I stepped on the many stones to help me cross. My boots got a little wet, but they were water proof, so I didn't feel anything. I ran to the edge of the cliff and decided not to waste my time on climbing down. I dove off the cliff and felt the air hit my face. My hair flew out behind me and I looked down at the tree I had been aiming for. Any second now... I whipped my arms out and caught a tree branch, swinging in a full back flip and landing on another branch. I jumped down and smiled to myself. I raced through the trees at inhuman speeds, watching as the trees sped past me in a blur. Once I saw the red of beads, I stopped.
