Everyone was running around, gathering weapons and shouting. Vale and Aleta were yelling at each other while Reagan picked up the huge rug in the middle of the room. I leaned over her. "What are you-"
"Help me with this." She said, whipping the rug off the floor and onto one of the couches. There was a small trap door, which Reagan pulled on. I helped her and we finally got it open. I watched as Reagan jumped down into the black abyss underneath us. There was rustling and then she was pushing weapon upon weapon into my arms. There were maces, bows and arrows, swords, axes, and more assortments of torture. I gawked at her as she climbed out and brushed herself off.
"Where did you get all of these?" I asked as she closed the trap door and fixed her shirt. She stood up and looked at me.
"When the Ashwalkers kill people, they don't always take their victims' weapons. I figured it wouldn't hurt to 'collect' them." She looked at Vale and Aleta, who were still arguing. "Stop!" She yelled, and they stopped to look at her. She looked left and right for a second, then started to run off into the house somewhere. I followed her into her room and watched as she felt along the lining of her closet. She murmured, frustrated, and then something clicked. There was a long groaning sound and she groaned impatiently. I watched with wide eyes as the closet opened to reveal a huge other closet. And when I say huge, I mean huge. There were walls upon walls of clothes of all shades and colors. Reagan leapt in and ran to the back, where there a sleek black door. She opened it and I noticed that everything was black. She ran her fingers alons the black shirts and finally decided on a tight fitting, black tee-shirt. She stripped her green tube-top off, revealing a sexy black bra. I smirked and leaned in the door frame.
"Why don't you do a little spin?" I asked, and she through her tube top at me. I pressed it to my face and grinned as she pulled on her new shirt. "Still warm." I said, and she rolled her eyes.
"Now is not the time Kane." She said, closing the closet behind us as we ran out. We ran into the main room, where Vale was holding an axe and Aleta was stroking a bow. I took twin swords and strapped a shield to my back and stood next to Reagan. She was looking out the window.
"What now?" Vale asked, looking out the window too. Reagan let out a slow breath and walked over to the door.
"Go outside I suppose." She said, opening the door. The second she opened it, a stream of arrows flew towards her. Aleta screamed and Vale ran over to her. I automatically grabbed the shield and guarded her with it. She looked at the shield in front of her, then at me. I winked at her and kissed her forehead.
"Be more careful darling." I said, taking my shield down when the arrows had stopped. Reagan flew outside in an instant, Aleta at her heels. I looked at Vale to see him glaring at me. He walked past me and practically spat in my face,
"Don't forget our deal." And then he ran out into the fight. I ignored his comment and ran into the night. There were at least ten Ashwalkers bodies on the ground already. Reagan was off to the left, kicking ass. Aleta was standing to my right, striking down Ashwalkers with her bow. Vale was just in the middle of it all, swinging his axe like he owned the place. I was about to run over to Reagan when I saw something out of the corner of my eyes. A flash of blue. I looked up into a tree, but didn't see anything. It was too damn dark out here, even with my night vision. I ignored the flash of blue and looked back at the fighting. Except there was no fighting to look at. All of the Ashwalkers were on the ground, bloodied and dead. There was one guy left, and he ran into the trees. Reagan nodded at Aleta, who ran after him. Vale, Reagan, and I stood in the silence, looking into the trees.
