There was no better feeling than kissing Reagan. When her lips met mine, tingles of electricity had shot through my body and I felt as though I could do anything. And then she had pulled back and I had sat there like an idiot. Seeing the look on Vale's face was priceless! That was literally the best moment of my life, seeing him with his mouth open, catching flies. What a loser. Reagan had walked out and Vale and I had stayed. Now we both sat opposite of each other, avoiding each other's gazes. Aleta was staring at me with a dazed expression, still under the influence of my voice. I rolled my eyes and stood up. I walked over to her and trailed my finger along her cheek and she shuddered. "Aleta, darling. Could you please leave? Go to your room and don't come out until I tell you to. Can you do that for me?" I asked innocently. She nodded absently and walked out of the room. I grinned and slumped back down on the couch.

"So how did you find Reagan?" Vale asked. I looked over at him.

"Rumours, honestly. You see my... friend... is really powerful. He saw that there was someone else in this world like me. So I left my friend and went to find her. When I did, she was everything I had hoped for and more." I said, sitting up and looking at the door. Vale seemed to slump further into the couch. He looked so pathetic. He wasn't even fighting for Reagan like a real man would. I groaned and sat back down. "You're too weak." I said. Vale sat up and looked at me.

"Excuse me?" He said angrily. I looked at him and could almost see steam coming out of his ears. I smirked and closed my eyes, ready for a nap. I could hear him stand up. "Weak? You would know all about that wouldn't you?" He shouted. I angrily opened my eyes and glared at him.

"I don't know what you're talking about." I said and pretended not to care, which I am very good at by the way. Vale smirked.

"I know who you are." He said. I stiffened.

"I've got to be honest... you've lost me." Vale smirked and I gotta say... he really didn't pull off the whole evily thing.

"Reagan doesn't know this but... I have dreams. Dreams about people." He said. I looked at him with curiousity. What could he be talking about? "I've had multiple dreams about you, but I hadn't mentioned them to Reagan. At the time, I didn't think it was important. Now I know different." He said dramatically. I've got to give it to the guy, he knew how to intimidate people. But luckily for me, I was good at hiding my emotions. Right now I was looking like I was bored to hell when I was really freaking out on the inside. "I know about Victoria." He said. I could imagine my eyes widening to the size of grapefruits. I stared blankly into space. How did he know?! If what he said was true... if he really did have those dreams... did he know about... "I know what you did to her."

"What... how... you..." No, this was not good. I was floundering. This was not good for me. If he knew about Victoria... he knew what I had done...

"I won't tell anybody if you promise to stay away from Reagan." I looked at him and caught his gaze. His smile vanished and he looked completely serious. I'm pretty sure I looked like my head was about to explode with panic. If Reagan found out... "I don't want you anywhere near Reagan. You're not good for her. Not after what you did. Do we have an understanding?" Vale asked sternly. I could only nod. He smiled and flopped back onto the couch. I headed towards the door. "Oh and Kane?" Vale said over his shoulder.

          "Yes?" I said, stopping.

"You could have saved her." He said. In a heartbeat, I sprinted out the door. He was talking about Victoria. No. Nobody knew about her and I intended to keep it that way. Well, Vale knew, but just because he had seen it in some weird dream. But I wouldn't think about her. Vale was just trying to get into my head. I smelled something sweet and headed towards it. Maybe it would take my mind off of Victoria. I ran through the trees until the sweet smell burned my nose. It was so tasty, like nothing I had ever smelled. My mind was buzzing and my stomach gurgled. Whatever it was... I wanted it. Bad. I ran into a clearing and the smell made me slow down. It surrounded me and made me moan. What was it? I looked into the clearing and noticed someone sitting in the snow. A girl. Covered in blood.

It was Reagan. Her whole left arm was covered in dark crimson blood. I knew at once that it was the sweet smell that I longed for. But why? I wasn't a vampire, and I had never been attracted to anybody's blood before. I took a step towards Reagan, who hadn't noticed me yet. She had a faraway look on her face. I turned to leave. I had told Vale that I wouldn't go near Reagan. If I did then he would tell her. If he told her...

Reagan moaned from the field. Her lips parted and she leaned her head back. She looked hurt. Why was she bleeding so bad? Oh screw it, Vale just wouldn't know I had been with her. I ran over to Reagan and touched her arm. She blinked multiple times and looked at me with a confused expression. "Kane?" She asked. She stiffened and looked down at her arm. I did too.

"What happened? Why are you bleeding so badly?" I asked, taking my shirt off and rubbing it into her arm. She winced and looked at me with sad eyes.

"I wanted to see my blood again." She said. I stared at her blankly. "I know it sounds crazy, but for someone who's never seen their own blood before... I was curious. So I took this." She held up a sharp fragment of glass. "I just made a little cut. Or... I thought it was little." She said, looking down at her arm. She movd and more blooded poured out of the huge gauge in her arm that she considered 'little'. I moaned and leaned away from her blood. Why did it smell so delicious? She noticed and touched my cheek with her hand. I sucked in a brearth and looked into her eyes. "What's wrong?" She asked, her voice soft. I took her hand and practically yanked it off my cheek. She started and looked at me, obviously hurt and confused.

"Your blood smells..." I took in a deep breath and let the smell race through me. "Delicious." I finished. She looked at me with a totally blank expression. Finally she sat up straighter.

"You're not a vampire are you?" She asked hesitantly. I quickly shook my head. She relaxed a little. Vampire were known for their inability to control themselves around blood. They could be very nice, but they just weren't commonly found. They tended to keep to themselves. Reagan looked at me, then at her sharp blade of glass, then back to me. "What do you think my blood would taste like?" She asked. My eyes widened and I held my hand up.

"Reagan don't!" She was about to make a cut on her hand when I pushed her arm. Almost in slow motion, the blade came down and sliced her arm where there was already old blood. She made another gauge right next to the other one and fresh red blood pooled out. Before I knew what was happening... my lust for her blood took over.
