chapter three

" Donnie! Donnie! Donnie!!! Wake up, wake uuup!!"

Wow! Always Emma! She  awakened me banging on my door and I'm sure it could be heard from several houses away, in addition she was yelling. Great!

" Donna! Open this stupid door!"

I stood up difficultly, walked to the door and opened it wide. She walked in, while I went back to my bed.

"Can I borrow your charger? pleaseee! I lost mine" I made her a long face frowning
" okay! actually, a don't know where it is and will be late if I continue to search. Pleaseee !? "

She was pleading with puppies eyes knowing that I will give her what she wants.

" uh-huh.. sure. But stop yelling I'm not  deaf . Ahem! it's only six Am." I replied

"yeah unlike somebody's, others have to wake up earlier with the aim to go  work". She complained.

" jeez... calm down! Find me a job and I'll show you" .

" what for!? as far as I know in six months you'll work at Juniors deaf and high school, as an animator, you have to wait.

I rolling my eyes, sighting loudly, I sat looking at her

" for what it's worth, I want to grow and develop my skills in every way. Beside, I don't want to appear defeat but , Hmm, look! work there will be fine, but stay unpaid it's not a thing that I can stand. I better stay here" I uttered staring nowhere thinking before staring back at her.

" you, yourself know that it's true. You have more than one extra salaries in addition to your school wage." I showed her.

she froze up and was being speechless for what seemed to be a while.
"Oh! Hmm, I'll ask around me" she said." We'll see then right?"

"yeah! I'm looking forward to it!"

I responded and curled up in my grand bed. I have nothing to do, I could easily sleep as well.

Two hours later, I woke up and make my routine, which consist in taking care of the house in a way that, trust me! if I wasn't the copy of my mother, our neighbours could easily think that I'm a maid who works there;

because I used to and continue to make everything inside and around our house gardening, cleanliness, dishwashing, cooking, laundry. Even though I made laundry only for Francis, who paid me. A perfect housewife, I think that's if I want to keep doing this, I could get paid for it seriously!

The week went by very fast and Saturday while I was wondering what I could do, my phone rang and it was Emma.

"Em' what's up?"

" uh,u-uh". she stuttered

"I'm sure that you haven't took your phone to call me without anything to say". I replied playfully.

"I don't know if you'll like. But it's the only thing I got." she said quickly.

" Eh? Chill OK and spill out what ever you have to say". I assured her.

" Ifoundyouajobbutyou'llbemaid." she split

" What!? I didn't hear anything."

"I found you a job." she said.

" great! Which kind?"

" in fact, I'm with somebody here who talked to me about researching a maid service for his fellow, who is in need of one. I wanna know if you're  interested?"

"yeah, sure. I'm making the same in our house free of charge, likewise I can make it there and get a payment."

" but you'll be a maid!!" She repeated herself.

"why are you so scared? I'm making the he same here! Right?"

" Yes." She said released. "uh, can I say my friend that your  are OK with that?"

"yep! that's great!" I replied

" ah! Good! When I'll be back home, I'll give you more details, Bye." She ended

"see you soon." I replied and hung up.

Whoa!! I'm very happy, finally  something new. I expect it to be serious, because I have to make a move with my life and I will be damn if I don't keep this one.
