chapter seven

" hi little one! I'm Donna! "

I knelt down in front of her, smiling at her.

"What is your name? Uh?"

She didn't say anything and keep staring at me.

"How old are you?"

She showed me her hands  up with four fingers. Oh she understands what I am saying! Great.

" Don't you speak"

She moved her head like to say no.
Not wanting to heart her I let it go.

" So, what do you want to do"

She grabbed my hand and we moved to the kitchen. With her puppies eyes and the way she pouted staring at me, I knew that she was hungry.

I seated her in a chair and started making her breakfast.

"I'll make you milk and eggs. Is that good for you princess?"
She flashed me a smile which reminded me her mother, she was the small version of Ms Ashton, and my heart skip a beat, just thinking at her. What happen to me?!

  I continued doing the foods. I poured her milk in a lukewarm water and give it to Elena

"Here you are, take your milk , I'll make you eggs now uh?"
She nodded and smiled warmly while drinking smoothly.

" Your a big girl, you know that?" I made a stroke on her chin saying that.

She glanced at me and giggles. it was quite amazing to have a child laughing like that for nothing. I  continued cooking her eggs thinking about what we will do after that.

Though, it was easy, just the thing I used to do. I studied Elena for a moment, she was very beautiful with her brown eyes, black shorts hair , her rosy cheeks, all her skin was soft, she was just like a baby dolls.

Even if we knew each other for more than one hour we get along very well, I have this feeling inside of me that I will not let anyone hurts her anymore,  just because she has some  troubles with language. I'll make her feel like the princess she will always be, not this insecure kid in front of me.

She sensed me gazing and smiled at me, I smiled back and grabbed the dirty dishes, washed them and put them into the cupboard.

" OK, princess what do you want to do? everything you want I'll want to. Hmm, tell me?"

She glanced at me fearfully and go back to her thoughts. I sat down by her side and carried her like a baby. Playing with her short hair for distraction, I started tickling her.
She was seized by an  uncontrollable giggling.
" Aha, noo, aah !" She uttered with her body shaking again mine.

In that moment while staring, I knew we  have created a strong trustworthy connection, she is just a child but even her can sensed that. I wish that she was my child. I put her down and running after her, we started playing hide and seek.

The  day went by the end and Elena was just different to the beginning of the day. she was relaxed. We end up in her bed,  since we have been watching this Radom animated cartoon she loves, we repeated it like five times in two hours. She was sleeping with her arms around me and her head in my chest.

I wasn't able to move without waking her up. I stared upwards thinking that
It was an amazing day, with that though, I fell asleep.
