I wake up feeling warm. I open my eyes and see Martijn's peaceful face. He's sleeping so calmly, breathing slowly. Apparently I'm laying on his chest, his arm is strangled around my body. I now notice that he's not wearing a shirt. His hair looks messy and it kinda looks hot. This is one of the best feelings ever. I feel so comfortable around him. I really do love him, his personality and of course his looks. I fall back asleep.
I wake up from the smell of pancakes. I get out of bed and follow the scent. I see Martijn standing in the kitchen in his shirt en sweatpants. His hair looks still messy. "Good morning, you look gorgeous" he says. "Good morning handsome" I walk towards him and give him a short kiss. "How can you always smell so good?" I ask him with a smile. He laughs and I walk up to him. He pulled me closer to him wrapping his arms around me. His embrace was warm, and his big, strong arms feel amazing around my body. The world around me melts away as I squeeze him back, not wanting the moment to end.
He hands me some pancakes and we eat while sitting on the balcony. It's a beautiful sunny day. "Shall we go surfing today?" I ask. "Yes let's do that!". I'm so excited to feel the waves again. We make ourselves ready and walk towards the beach. I feel really happy.
I sit on my board while I'm looking at Martijn catching perfect waves. He floats through the ocean and it looks so amazing. I see a big wave coming up and decide to go for it. I enter the wave and it feels like I'm alone in this world, only the wave and me. The waves energy gives me such a boost. I want more. We both surf for more than a hour. The sun is setting now and it looks magical. We take a seat at the beach and it's almost empty. We sit and just peacefully enjoy the beautiful sky. This is life. All the hurt from the past few days disappear when my lips find his. We see the gold sky overflowing into blue waves..
