MAYA

part 2

Maya while  getting out of the water finally breath. She gasp tiredly before  crawling in the sand. She didn't know how she survive that crash, she thought  she was gonna die.

she touch her bleeding forehead which was pounding and wince when  she tried taking a step. Falling on  her knees. She tried remembering what happen. She remember  the court  scene and how saanj was able to find proof against her.   She remember tricking Arjun.

And kidnapping  him. She had told him, they will go somewhere  so far that no one will find them.  She told Samar to help her, but he left a trail by accident  causing  the cops to find them. At the last moment,  when Arjun was struggling , he told her he truly loves her, he said he would have been hers  if she didn't become  this way.

He says he believe  Maya is a good person. He blame himself for not being good enough  for her. And to understand  her. Arjun told her he loves her a lot so much that he gives up. He says if Maya wants  to die together, he will fulfill  that promise.

This surprise Maya. It was at that moment that Maya realize  she mest up. she had always been the one to make the effort and time, not to mention sacrifice. But today the tables have turned. She realized  that Arjun is willing  to sacrifice  his life to be with her. that type of love was enough for her. But what can she do now. She sadly smile before using  her last strength  to push him " I'm  sorry" she says before her car fell of the cliff.

"MAYA!!" He screams

Saanj got out the car while calling his name. Arjun look at her,  before looking at the cliff.

Maya head spinning,  falls on the sand causing her untreated injury  to  reopening. It was in this position That dev found her.

Dev ran to her, to check on her. He shook her shoulder,  but she didn't  budge. At first he thought  she died, but when he heard a groan from her, he sigh. " don't worry,  I will get help."

He quickly dial sona  number,  but it went straight to voicemail.  He tried again,  but nothing. Deciding he calls the ambulance. One of the agent says they won't be able to come until an hour.  Dev angry asks how can all ambulance  be occupied in a day"

" I don't know sir, but you can try taking the patient  to the nearest hospital which is five blocks away."

Dev frown,  he look at Maya before hanging  up the phone. He was about to grab his keys,  when he realized he left it in his jacket . He contemplate whether to go and get it or stay. Decided, he bends down and lift her up. It was a struggle at first, but he managed.

Dev while walking felt Maya slipping. So gently ,  he push her up to fix their position.  This time her head landed on his shoulder. He could feel her breath on his bare neck. He ignored the feeling he was getting  for a second and continued.

When he arrived he calls for a doctor. They quickly arrive and took Maya from him. The nurses  asked him questions  about her, but he knew nothing.  He had to lie And said she's a relative.

Once he was done filling  out the paperwork, Dev wonder who she is, and why was she lying  their bleeding. Suddenly,  Dev phone rang. He frown when seeing who it is.

" hello"

" Dev? Where did you go".

Dev sigh " I'm  at the hospital "

" hospital?  Why? What happened"

" calm down Sona, how is soha ?"

Sona voice calm a little " she's fine,  she's asleep"

Dev apologize  to her. He told her he will make it up to soha. Sona asks if he was coming,  he look at the door one time before answering yes.  When Dev hung up, he told the nurses he will be back tomorrow.  He gave his card and left.

The next day, Dev was driving with soha.  He was happy Sona wasnt following  this time.  He look at his daughter  who was enjoying the wind. Suddenly his phone rang. Dev raised a brow.  " hello?"

" Mr.dixit sir, we have a problem" one nurse says

Dev confuse wonder what it was. The nurse told him to come right away. Dev turning told soha,  they will make a detour before going  to the mall.

It wasn't long before they made it. When he entered he saw nurses running around  and doctors yelling.  He was gonna ask what's  going on  when he saw the cause of their problem.

Maya in hospital gown was running straight  to him. She looked scared  and confused .  Dev was shock when she ran into his arm, while holding him for dear life.  " please, help me, don't leave me alone " she says  holding him. Dev worried, didn't know what to do in a situation  like this .

Soha looking at them asks who she was.
