" mam,  why are you up so early"

" its because i was worried, you weren't in your room when i called for you. To my surprise you were with that girl"

Dev brushed the back of his head in embarrassment. " about that...i guess i got to tired. "  he says

Ashwari still wasn't convince.  " dev beta, why are you helping a girl you barely know. "

Dev drags his mom to the dinning table. " mom, you worry to much. Trust me she's harmless" he says recalling last night.

" hhow do you know that dev"

" mom, relax, if you keep worrying to much  , you might see more grey hair on your head"coffee" he asks

Ashwari tense. She knew a crazy person when she see it, and Maya what ever her name was  just brings out negative energy. She sigh , since her son trust her For now she will let it go. Dev kiss her cheeks before saying he has to go.

" at least wash up first" she Says

Dev laughs " your right"

In maya room, she dreamt of arjun , but his face was blurry. She suddenly felt suffocated like someone was strangulating her. " no, let go of me...leave me" she screams

" leave me!" She sat up panting while breathing hard. She turn when she heard a knock.

" come in"

Ashwari comes in, " what has happen beta,I could hear your scream from miles away"

Maya blush in embarrassment " I'm sorry, I just had a nightmare"

" do you want to talk about it"

Maya surprise look at her " n..n..o "

Ashwari observe Maya. she look so fragile. she  stop thinking when she  saw Dev shirt on her. She ignored what ever she was thinking. " get up we have a lot to do"

Maya hesitate, " yes"

Few minute later......

Maya was dressed in one of Dev sisters old outfit. Ashwari had told her to do the laundry and vacuum the rooms. She happily reads the newspaper. Maya without complaining obeyed by her rules. This was how Dev saw her vacuuming. " maya what are you doing"

" ma says to clean the house"

Dev sigh " Maya your our guest , you dont need to do this"

Maya frown " I'm your wife and she's ma, I will do whatever she wants me to do"

Dev seeing her content face decides to drop it. " just dont overwork yourself, you just came from the hospital"

Maya smile " I wont" she look at his attire and giggles " Dev your missing something"

Raising his brow he look down , when he didnt see anything he was about to comment on it, but was surprise by a kiss. " good luck at work"

😓" yeah, thanks " he says turning to leave, he turn back to Maya to see her vacuuming, he chuckle to himself " weird girl"

Ashwari seeing her son out of it , wonder what's wrong. " I dont hear you vacuuming Maya" she says

" I'm in the rooms, I will come out soon"

The whole day maya was doing chorus for ashwari, sadly ashwari was enjoying it. She felt superior over Maya knowing the girl won't rebel like sona. Few days past, and the same routine keeps playing. But things will soon change for the worse.

The priest came over to bless the house. Dev, ashwari, soha, dev two sisters and of course Maya. He blessed each person one at a time. When he stop at maya, what ever he had fell. He look at ashwari and than Maya. He wonder how two negative energy can live in the same house.

Maya asks him if he was alright. The priest nod, he says " your destiny has change and ramji has given you a second life, do not revert back to the one you had , try and live on towards your new future."

Confuse , Maya wonder what he ment. After the priest left, soha bomb Maya with questions. Maya answerd it. Dev smile at their interaction, " soha was really excited to come here. Maya has captured her interest"

ashwari frown " she will get over it like all children."

Dev seeing Maya laugh says " no ma, I think this is different" ashwari could hear the hint in his word, she didn't like it. she didn't like it one bit. She do not want someone they know nothing about , whose poor and has no money or importance in this world to end up with her son.

She needed a plan , one that will make her look bad in Dev eyes. Enough to kick her out without Dev fighting with her. She suddenly got it.
