Chapter 4 ; Two - Faced

Bianca

“Damn it,” I muttered. I put down the nail polish brush to grab the cloth once again. If it wasn’t obvious, I was painting my nails. Hot pink of course. I continued painting them and humming to the song ‘Little Things’ by One Direction. When I finally finished my last and final nail, my cell phone starting blaring. “Hello!” I chirped.

“Aaaahhhhh! Bee!” I quickly pulled the phone away from my ear. Ow.

“Yes?” I asked the screaming girl.

“Girl, its Jessica! Guess who was invited to Aaron Lou’s party on Friday!” Jessica sang.

“Oh my god! You were!”

“Nope. We were!” I jumped up then and started dancing around like a crazy lady. Aaron Lou was the most popular guy and he threw the best parties for seniors only.

“How?” I screamed.

“He said I was really nice and pretty but he said that after I let him copy off my English test but who cares! He invited me and said I could bring whoever I wanted! So, I’m bringing you and you can bring Jazz and your boyfriend is already invited. He always is.” I squealed in excitement.

“Okay! See you on fri? Pick me up around eight?”

“Duh!” Jessica agreed. I grinned and hung up. I couldn’t believe this! I, Bianca Love, sophomore, is going to a senior party with lots of hot guys! Life couldn’t get sweeter.

Jazz

I was sitting alone at lunch on a Wednesday afternoon. The cafeteria was loud as usual. Bianca was absent and her boyfriend was nowhere to be seen. Hm. They probably skipped class together. I thought to myself. I miss Ronnie so much. He and I used to skip class all the time and it was great. I smiled at the memory when we skipped for the first time.

“Come on Jazz! It’ll be fun!” Ronnie encouraged. I rolled my eyes.

“Yeah right. My mom will kill me, Ronnie. I just can’t.” I shook off his hand and continued walking to my locker. He always tried to make me skip with him for some reason. It was just ridiculous. When I was just about to open my locker, a hand fell on my shoulder and spun me around. Ronnie’s face was a few millimeters from mine. I was breathing hard and he smiled at my obvious desire. My eyes grazed over the planes of his gorgeous face. Ronnie had strong cheekbones, daring but kind dark brown eyes and his hair was spiked but in a cute way.  Our hot breaths were mingling with each other’s. I was seriously considering just making out with him right then and there.

“Come on, babe. Do this for me. I want you all to myself,” Ronnie pleaded. I heaved a great sigh, finally giving in.

“Well, when you put it that way.”

“Jazz?” I was quickly ripped right out of my memory. Standing over me was Bianca, surprisingly.

“Oh, hey girl,” I said with a fake smile. She smiled back, obviously clueless. Bee sat down in the seat facing me, looking awfully excited.

“Guess what!” Bianca squealed. I rolled my eyes at her dramatics.

“Let me guess, you’re pregnant.” I stated.

“What? Uh, no. We are going to Aaron Lou’s party this Friday!” I nearly choked on my water at what she just said. No way. No freaking way!

“You’re joking.” Bianca shook her head vigorously. Utterly flabbergasted, I laughed. This was really happening right now! “This can’t be happening.”
