The stars aren't as bright when they're not in your eyes
The wind stopped singing it's calm lullabies
Now it bites my skin, and clouds cover our moon
Please can you tell me you're coming back soon?
The words are building up, they threaten to overflow
Without you here, I'm moving so slow
I can't seem to talk, and I don't want to breathe
Since you're gone, I have to leave
I'll walk down the street until I run out of road
Climb to the sky, so far I can't feel this load
And then I'll fall, if you'll let me
Enclosed in a glass coffin, sleeping
Until you come to kiss me awake,
Your long, slender fingers mending the break
You left, that day, when they tore us apart
Look down, in your hands, you'll find my heart
