Remy took a deep breath, looking up at herself in the mirror on the vanity in front of her. Her long blonde hair was up in a bun adorned with braids and a couple of small flowers. Her makeup was minimal; just enough to accentuate her long eyelashes and blue eyes.

As she looked at herself, she couldn't help but smile. So much had gone on in the last year and a half. From getting her role on The Originals, to reconnecting with Daniel, to being on and off and on again with him, they'd been through so much and she couldn't believe that this was where it was ending. She was so happy, so unbelievably happy.

A moment later Nina, Phoebe, Claire, Danielle, Leah, Kat, Riley, Sabrina, and Candice walked in and broke her out of her thoughts.

"Oh my god. I hate you for being an actual princess," Phoebe told her, running up to her and kissing the top of her head.

"Thanks... I think?" Remy said, laughing and standing to twirl for her bridesmaids.

"So gorgeous, love. He's gonna die when he sees you," Claire told her, giving her a hug.

"Are you crying?" Remy asked Nina, who instantly turned and shook her head.

"Of course not," Nina said dramatically, making everyone else laugh. "I just love you guys so much!" she said, turning back around and hugging Remy right.

After the rest of them had exchanged hugs and applied any finishing touches to Remy's dress and hair and makeup, it was time. Taking a deep breath, she smiled at all of them and walked slowly outside. The rest of the wedding party made their way down the aisle, and then the music changed and it was Remy's turn.

As soon as she rounded the corner that led into the grassy area of the small park and saw Daniel at the altar, he took her breath away. Tears filled her eyes and she smiled a smile that felt bigger than any that had ever graced her features before. She'd seen him in suits tons of times for filming the show, of course, but somehow this time was different. This time was so... real. He smiled back at her as she joined arms with Ian and began walking down the aisle.

"Hi," she whispered to Daniel as she reached him, her smile lighting up her face.

"Hi, sweet thing," he whispered back, smiling at her and reaching to kiss her on the cheek. "Let's get married, yeah?"

"Yes, please," she said, her voice and vision blurred by happy tears. She joined her hands with his and absently thought about how she wished she could never let them go.
