Sources are telling us this morning that the bit of gossip everyone has been dying to know for the past few years has finally surfaced!
As you'll probably know if you're a fan of the CW's 'The Vampire Diaries' or its spinoff, 'The Originals', two of the favorite stars of both, Paul Wesley and Remington Somerhalder, had a hot little fling going shortly after meeting on set.

Our trusted sources are telling us that the cause of the breakup may have been none other than another one of the pair's cast mates, Daniel Gillies! We're being told that apparently there was a cheating scandal!

We don't know any details yet, but we're guessing that one hot vampire just wasn't enough for Somerhalder (whose older cousin Ian is also from TVD of course).
All this when we've been wondering for a long time why Gillies and Somerhalder (who play casual lovers on 'The Originals') seemed to be on the outs in real life! Maybe something to do with this?
