"Delta! Get over here!" Aaron's boss exclaimed as he arrived at the offices. He realized that the ambience crescendoed as he entered the building. He opened the door to his boss's office and walked into immediate taciturnity.

"Yes, boss?" he spoke with a groggy, morning voice. He sat sluggishly in a seat until he corrected his posture.

"Abby was asking something from you."

"Oh really?"

"Indeed. She was wondering if you had received an email in return, and then said that you would know what that meant." He squinted his eyes like he wanted a scoop," so what's going on?"

Aaron blinked and widened his eyes, speaking excitedly, "Oh, that's right! I sent an email the President of the CDJ asking for their assistance on deciding 'what is what' and 'who is who' on the homicide."

The boss stared, then sat down in his chair, silent. Then finally, "You know, I hear they're pretty unreliable- gives you three days of 'assistance' then takes a break after the first meeting."

Aaron chuckled nervously, "What?"

He stood up from his seat and walked toward the door, "Nevermind.. Go see if you got that email!" he said, enthusiastically.

Aaron stood up and said, "Thank you?" with a confused tone. He then spun toward the door and opened it. A sudden breeze smacked him in the face, and he shivered. Aaron wandered off to his cubicle and powered on his computer. He sat in his swivel chair; his movements created a semi-circular shape across the floor. He hummed a tune while scanning through his emails. He scrolled to the bottom of the newest emails and found one titled 'Dear Aaron', written by Joseph Mattrix, the President of the CDJ. He opened up the email and began reading,

"Dear, Aaron,

Hello. I am replying to a previous request, and have agreed to assist you on your investigation. I have given many agents of other corporations approx. three days of assistance with investigations and interrogations. Today, I am feeling generous, so let me make you a deal. You have one week with my best agent and informant, Jerry Foster, to find as much information as you can on the subject of homicide, specifically the murder of James Hensworth. At the end of this week, however, Mr. Foster will return to the CDJ, and all information you receive must be turned in, and you will no longer be on the case. My agents will continue from where you left off, and finish the job. This is not meant to be taken personally, it's just business. But this does need to be taken seriously, so get everything done.

- Joseph Mattrix"

Aaron slouched in his seat, re-reading the email a couple of times, and saying to himself, "A week, huh? Take that, boss!" He sent an email in reply to agree with those terms, and informed Abby of the news.
